    TTC: Sheppard Subway Extension (Proposed)

Of course you're right. With this light metro option, would it be fully segregated from traffic (elevated or at-grade with fly over/under) or would it simply have full priority (railroad-crossing style) at intersections?

    TTC: Sheppard Subway Extension (Proposed)

Out of curiosity, would it be feasible to have a Calgary/Edmonton style full-priority high-floor LRT running along Sheppard at the surface, or is that unrealistic? Also would building cut and cover significantly reduce costs on this corridor?

    Eglinton West LRT | Metrolinx

Well, I guess transportation engineers do what transportation engineers are taught to do. Maybe it's about time that Transportation Services be led by a planner rather than a transportation engineer? edit: turns out it is, but the Traffic Management section is lead by an engineer...

    Hurontario LRT | Metrolinx

Hey there, your facts are probably correct and your thinking is great ... for a highway. I ask you to kindly take into consideration that we are talking about main (literally Main) street here. Instead of focusing on level of service (traffic throughput), let's also think about safety and...

    MiWay: Service thread

Winston Churchill is busier in terms of vehicular traffic, yes. However, route 13 on Glen Erin serves more areas of higher density and has better connections to other routes; hence it is popularity.

    Eglinton West LRT | Metrolinx

According to an article in the Toronto Star: "The Eglinton West LRT ($4.7 billion) What Ford announced: A replacement for the city’s plan to extend the already under construction Eglinton Crosstown. The province’s plan would bury more of the extension and continue it west to Pearson...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

Can you explain how such a proposed express bus would be turned around at Queensway? What routing would it take? From Google Maps, I don't see any location where a bus loop can be built near the stop. Buses would have to turn onto Lakeshore road and then make a U-turn. As well, a bus bay built...

    Toronto | Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Well, since 109 (bus to Islington) is run by Miway, somebody will have to pay the bills. If the rider is not paying, then TTC will have to pay Miway like it did with VIVA from Downsview to York U before the subway extension opened.

TTC: Yonge North Subway Extension (Finch-Richmond Hill) (Unfunded/Planned)

I am also not an expert, but I would guess that it's less about serving the communities along the extension than about network connectivity. Currently, a lot of people pass Richmond Hill Centre from north and east via the VIVA services on Yonge and Highway 7 to get to the TTC Subway. All the...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

There does seem to be a capacity restraint at PC since there are only 5 bus bays there serving 19, 103, 23, 14 and 8. Maybe that's why.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Speaking of the 21 Milton Bus, why don't they end it at Port Credit to connect to the LSW Train? Given it's train-replacement nature (runs when Milton train doesn't run), it operates during off-peak hours when the LSW train has plenty of capacity. This way they could reduce resources required...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

As you say, a solution would be to extend the Waterloo/Guelph bus to Port Credit GO to connect to the frequent LSW Train. I could also see an extension to Kipling via Transitway once the hub there opens. Do you still have the link to the article? Yeah that doesn't make any sense. Especially...
