Waterfront: WDL Stormwater Treatment Plant (1s?, gh3/RV Anderson, WT)

They are starting to erect a fence round it and obviously preparing to lay an access road - from the road that leads to the Don Yard

Someone probably made a generous (and totally unrelated) contribution to someone or some thing!

Or made a donation to someone or some thing!

Yes, but AFIK, no concrete yet on lowest level on south end. Very odd, to me!

    Toronto | Massey Hall Revitalization | 48m | 6s | KPMB

They have just removed the 'shroud' so one can see the original building. It does not look to me as though any of it has been washed off and I am not sure they have painted the woodwork yet (though it's hard to tell.) Ideally they will finish the outside before winter so the sidewalks get back...

I think nobody is yet clear, but I think it came as a surprise to the City so I have my fears!

    AODA on individual condo units?

Though I have certainly seen buildings being approved with some AODA compliant Units, I have never heard of them suddenly 'appearing' at the last minute. From your posting I assume YOU are not disabled so making your Unit AODA compliant is not helping anyone but simply 'checking-off boxes'...

    Toronto | Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

They seem to (finally) be finishing off the granite flooring in the York Street moat area at the moment. They are pouring new concrete outside the Bay Street doors that lead to Scotia Bank Arena. The escalators etc in the SBA leading to new GO Bus area and the area surrounding them appear to be...

    Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

It's a bus garage that has huge (open) doorways. Any kind of false ceiling (particularly a cheap one) would not have worked well.

    Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

It cannot be used as there are no rails south of Commissioners Street and they have put a 'block' on tracks on east side of the Don Bridge. Clearly CreateTO and the City screwed up by allowing the CanadaPost guys to build on the rails and now I think everyone is scurrying around to find...

    Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I note with interest that the plans still seem to show the rail spur. running east of the Don. I find this a bit odd as it is currently 'disconnected" and the only traffic that used it (to the Water Treatment plant) is now done by trucks as the new Canada Post building on Leslie & Commissioners...

    St. Lawrence Market

To expand, the project tender call closed on 5 October. No word yet on who it will be awarded to. The City hopes to award it 'in 5 or 6 weeks" with work starting ASAP in the 2021 'season" (probably April 1). The use of Section 37 $ was always envisioned for this project as it will have...
