    Apple Stores bring in the most money per square foot of any stores in the world by quite a huge margin IIRC, so you are well out of step with most. The sterile, clean, minimalist design makes sense to me. They want all the attention to be on the product. I do hate the smell of Apple Stores...

    It’s still extremely early for that one. I’d guess it could be as many as 5-7 years before they break ground. I moved to the neighbourhood about 7 years ago, and what became Time and Space condos was about at the same stage that the Esso is at now.

    The precast looks unfinished and worn, so my guess is they’re either going for that effect, which I honestly kind of like, or it’ll be painted rust colour.
