    I am comparing Skyway and 407 for the purpose of tolls. Wasn't 407 built on virgin land? Per km toll looks a lot more for an open highway like that with only 4-5 big interchanges.

    Aren't they rebuilding bridges for 400 and 404 widening too? Disruption could be a factor as I believe those bridges in Barry carry more traffic than the ones in Vaughan.

    I would hate if we toll 401 and some of that traffic shifts to 407. It's good for the city but I would hate seeing that company earn even more than what they are earning now.

    If you want to check what percentage of ridership comes from park and ride, just check the number of parking spaces. A few hundred parking spaces can't generate thousands of riders at a station. Sheppard subway alone throws in tens of thousands of riders on Yonge line. Not to mention buses on...

    I think this photo shows CIBC Square in the context of rest of the Financial District. I won't call it barely noticeable either. It stands out well and is very identifiable even in this crowd. Only CN Tower and Scotia Plaza are more noticeable in this photo than this building. Just my 2 cents.
