300 million can't just disappear off the books. Especially in downtown Toronto. It has approval, it will be built in some form or the other.

    Toronto | Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

Looks sharp, cladding is spot on. Really wish they could extend these renovations further south along Yonge. But progress is still progress.

    Toronto | Clover on Yonge, The | 148m | 44s | Cresford | architectsAlliance

I was walking down Yonge Street with my bud on the weekend. I told him I thought this condo would be a stunner. He mentioned to me it looked like it would have some really nice retail attached as well.

Doesn't the WTC spire also include transmission as well. It can be architectural and functional and still count. Just not purely functional.

Some have suggested this will be the beginning of top down construction. With the retail levels built above while the underfootings for the tower are constructed underneath.

Toronto | Lower Simcoe Ramp and New Park | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

Nothing to do with the black power class' ability to do urban planning, of course. Atlanta like in much of the United States is a city built for cars not people really.

Toronto | Lower Simcoe Ramp and New Park | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

While Atlanta may "suck" (urban form/layout) it is one of the few cities in the States with a real black power class. And that is saying something.

    Toronto | Mirvish+Gehry Toronto | 329m | 91s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Mirvish is patient. Bad experience with Stinson, wants to be careful this time.

    Toronto | The One | 309m | 85s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

OMB is saying 82 / the UT database says it is 80 So maybe just a different way of saying the same thing.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Once they get to 60 cars they go to the Pantograph only models?

    Toronto | The One | 309m | 85s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Can't really compare this project to Mirvish or 50 Bloor. The main difference being that most of the leg work has been done, in terms of financing and site clearing. A property flip to a more experienced developer is actually a good thing, and the OMB hearing is a rubber stamp.
