There are certainly plans but I do not know of exact timing - I assume it will be removed when they work on that section of the Gardiner.

2019 Ontario Liberal Leadership Race / Rebuild

You are, of course, correct and I have seen several very productive minority governments but I suspect most people's first choice is a majority government led by their favourite party. Decisions on strategic voting tend to be made during campaigns.

2019 Ontario Liberal Leadership Race / Rebuild

The problem then is that you (or we) will either need to abstain or vote for Ford or Horwath (or a party like Greens who have zero hope of becoming the government.) I too am not keen on what I know of del Duca but in politics one sometimes needs to hold ones' nose and vote.

The replacement of (larger) pumps with variable speed drive ones was a Toronto Hydro program (PumpSaver) and was cancelled by Mr Ford - or more accurately moved to the Independent Electricity System Operator and greatly reduced in scope. See...

I think that if the water supply to the building's fire systems is not working the City would be closing it and getting people out. Of course, Aura thinks quite highly of itself! A NEW BENCHMARK FOR DOWNTOWN LIVING Aura sets a new benchmark for downtown living with 995 units offering...

I live in a 40-year old building and we are still using the original booster pumps (we have two - one that runs 100% of the time and a second to act as back-up). Of course, both have been refurbished, once, and we are about to replace the control mechanism but booster pumps are really not...

The City water pressure is fairly constant throughout the City. The reason buildings over about 10 floors have booster pumps is to get water at a decent pressure to higher floors. It makes no difference to City if its one tall Building or 10

This is presumably caused by THIS: - the private contractor who broke the watermain is clearly in for some damage claims!! Emergency watermain repair may result in lower water pressure in some downtown areas 21-Jan-2020 Starting tomorrow morning at 7 a.m., the City of Toronto will begin...

    Gusto 501 (501 King St E, 4s, Partisans)

It certainly LOOKS good but I am a bit wary of all the (apparently) hard surfaces; I refuse to go to (or stay in) restaurants where I simply cannot hear my companion speak. Reports??

Would these be gates opened by farts or gates that blocked those who were farting? Would there be 'Fart Inspectors"?

    Toronto | 60 Mill | 115m | 31s | Gupta | IBI Group

The problem is that proposals that made sense decades ago may no longer do so. IMO, if a project with 'special zoning' that was approved more than 5-7 years ago has not been started they should lose any special permissions and revert to the 'regular zoning'. Of course, an owner can reapply...

    Toronto | 60 Mill | 115m | 31s | Gupta | IBI Group

Of course it's 'unfair' to keep on allowing new proposals to be made with new 'exceptions" but we can expect this one to go to LPAT. They will need to see whether the earlier OMB decision and its reasoning still stand. A sort of 'reverse" of this case is the situation with the Dominion Public...

First Step - Fire your property manager?

I have never seen any published reviews of PM companies and you probably need to make some calls to other condos of about the same age, size and demographics. Some companies are better with larger well established buildings while other seem to do best with smaller ones. You need to remember...
