No work on the missing West Highland Creek bridge. Meanwhile, the new, unused platform at Agincourt GO is returning to nature.

Uxbridge is in the middle of the greenbelt with major development restrictions, so I can't see the economics of rail service ever really making much sense. This must be an extremely low priority for Metrolinx given all the demand from far more populous areas with no, or infrequent, rail service...

Interesting video re: the Stouffville closure last weekend. No mention of the famous missing bridge, but I can check later in the week.

Especially lines like Stouffville that have had evening trains taken away multiple times and have frequent weekend train shut downs. Those who don't take GO regularly are super confused by this.

At least it might get rid of the awful smells for a day or two.

I wonder if the final West Highland Creek bridge will also be worked on during this closure? Hopefully the new signals mean there are plans for some near-term service increases.

Thanks for all the updates, everyone! This is really noticeable from Markham Road coming north past the 407 now. It's going to be weird having a whole mini-skyline at the end of that view.

It's nice to see appropriate density by transit eat into the bungalow belt a little more. Between these up-zonings and the major streets plan, some of these neighbourhoods are going to change pretty dramatically.

This is great to see! Hopefully this is to support eventual 30-minute service.

It is more important in terms of riders, no? Buses along Kennedy can't really compete with the future frequent GO service.

From an employment perspective, Option 3 makes a lot of sense. Lots of warehouse-type employment is being added along Markham Road up to Steeles, so the Markham Road bus would be far more convenient. 2A would also be fine. Those working at STC would still be very well served without a direct...
