What happens to all those shiny shovels after each of these ground breakings? Part joking, but also part curious.

I think the building looks fine, not particularly adventurous, and that's ok. The engineering behind the build seems much more exciting to me then the arch. here.

I love the weirdness. Bring this on. This building would be spoken about for years in to the future like other strange buildings. Reminds me for some reason of Integral House, but not sure why.

NYCC and STC called. Kidding aside, I find this is no worse overall as a neighbourhood of buildings, than most other areas in Toronto.

The last shot looks and feels quite european. Quite nice!

2 Spadina Rd (NW corner @ Bloor W, potential future redevelopment)

You aren't jumping the gun at all. This proposal is on the way, inclusive of 350, 342, 334 Bloor and 4 and 6A spadina, as has been outlined above.

Interesting to see that view down Bay. From the East and West this building feels sort of disconnected from the core, but that shot down Bay shows the future canyon, with the next phase further solidifying this dense feeling view.

This will likely be Toronto's highest value land sale to date I think...or close. Downsview was a large sale at 825,000,000. Very curious to know the price.

Good use of sarcasm. Also, build Toronto in the 13th century, like Amsterdam.

Which surface rapid transit system is being studied all over the world? King? I think our positive spin is a bit hyperbolic especially on transit, but I agree that Toronto is an incredibly great city to live in, esp. given the other city options viewed holistically.

I still think this looks like a dog's breakfast, and maybe that is too kind.

    Toronto Planetarium (50 St George, U of T, ?s, ?)

The page doesn't look removed as much as it is just empty. The link still seems to work. Their twitter looks pretty active for the department. I don't use twitter, but I would consider tweeting them possibly to find out. My guess is it's just early days still and the page will be revamped.
