    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

I don't think the city wants another through street - enough people use Queens Quay as a through street when the Gardiner and Lakeshore back up...would be a terrible idea to open up another tight street near a school that can be used to uselessly try to avoid traffic. I don't see it going all...

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

Per minutes from Waterfront Design Review, they are vehemently AGAINST +15 type bridges...they want animated streets. So that concerns me that they will not end up connecting the PATH across Lakeshore from the Esplanade. I don't think they'll go under the active rail lines, Lakeshore Blvd and...

They'll be paving that street before Christmas. Still no name huh?

They also mentioned more training - what on earth are you still training at this point? If they have operated the line in a revenue demo for 30 days, they know what they need to know.

Minister of Transportation basically said they're handing it over to the TTC within 2 weeks and they could open anytime after that. Essentially throwing it into the TTC's court to open before year's end so they can finally wash their hands of this...."ask the TTC - we handed it over to them."...

    Toronto Pinnacle Lakeside (Phase 1) | 174.86m | 54s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Pinnacle doesn't bug me - it was the Ontario Line dump trucks that staged on Queens Quay East and idled for hours on end starting at like 5 am. The one "pro" to having the nightmare of barrels and lane alignments east of Sherbourne now is they can't use QQE as a staging site. My guess is they...

    Toronto Pinnacle Lakeside (Phase 1) | 174.86m | 54s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Yeah but the fact that they've built the curb across the widened section tells me not to expect the widening to actually happen for a while - my guess is when the WELRT gets put in and they have to tear it all back up and do relos anyways.

They’re definitely not widening Sherbourne anytime soon.

215 Lake Shore East (Greenland) - Real Estate -

The shortest tower on the north side along Lakeshore is all affordable rental. They share a stairwell with the tower on the east side of the lot.

Even more work at the corner of Bonnycastle and QQE happening this afternoon:

This pretty much guarantees the widening of Lower Sherbourne isn't happening anytime soon if they're building the curb all the way to the existing width of Sherbourne.

It was a city crew the first time not an Eastern crew so likely unrelated but in the same spot.

that number has grown by a couple hundred as these “negotiations” have gone on. It was just over 300 originally if I’m not mistaken.

They’ve been digging in spots on both north and south sides of QQ for a few days now. This area has become a traffic nightmare - between the lane restrictions on Parliament for The Goode / No 31, Merchants’ Wharf for repaving, these lane restrictions and the bus lanes, it’s the city being the...

    Toronto Pinnacle Lakeside (Phase 1) | 174.86m | 54s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I wonder why the front tower (south west part of the lot) is so far behind the others - the mid-height is essentially topping off but the front one is only 2-3 stories up.

So why isn't the same happening here?

Didn’t realize water views were the selling feature - figured people would be working not looking out the windows?

Different developers so unless Quayside Impact is going to buy out Hines, that’s not gonna happen. I bet Hines is kicking themselves for doing T3 Phase 1 on the east lot vs the west lot because they probably could have convinced everyone at this time that more office space isn’t needed and to...
