A question: are developers required to designate and put in or arrange for spaces for charging stations for electrical vehicles? There are three EV stations in our building and they are busy. My guess is that they will become even more widely needed.

FWIW, there is a school moving into the podium of Eau du Soleil although it is a private rather than a public school. It is scheduled to open next Fall so it will be open well ahead of the proposed Sugar Wharf school.

I know that this is not a popular position here, but light pollution is a real and serious ecological problem. We do need to address it.

Two towers, late afternoon of a winter’s day.

I can imagine sitting in that little park sipping my coffee, listening to the vehicles grind their gears as they inch along the Gardiner in morning rush hour. And that wonderful, evocative odour from up there on the Gardiner! I love the smell of petroleum products in the morning.

An aside on that (to me) odd descriptor “pedestrian.” This is not meant to be a put down of anyone who uses it. I know what users mean by it and often agree. But to me and I suspect to many of us, a place or streetscape which is pleasant and welcoming to walk around, or in one word pedestrian...
