    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Maybe people just need to see the central/underground part of the Crosstown in operation to convince people that that conversion makes sense

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I heard a radio interview with Verster the day after they announced the restoration of the 4:50 express. In that interview he confirmed that the initial re-jig of the schedule (including the moving of the 4:50 to 4:35 and converting it to all stops) was 100% his and his staff's idea......the...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

That would still not produce $3 fares in other municipalities. It would produce $3 trips within Toronto (eg Ex and Union are in the same zone) but not (to use the example I am most familiar with) in Brampton where all 3 GO stations are different zones.

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

I know how damages normally work but ML has been saying there are clear penalties just for missing the deadline.....I think we the taxpayer should call them on that and ask them to show us the contract and what the penalties are. Like you, I think they would normally have to show that they have...

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

All I am saying is: if the contract is as cut and dried as Metrolinx says it is.....there are penalties due now for failure to deliver (for any reason) 6 by Feb 1 and there are substantial penalties that BBD has to pay that are now due. Since they have shared som much detail from the contract...

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

If you can literally sense it....you should share the information with us. ;):);):) I actually think Metrolinx should share it with us. They have been very public about the terms of the contract...they told us without hesitation that 6 were due by today and they told us that there were...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

commercial uses are a greater driver of truck traffic.......but in a, mostly, commuter town it is clear that the most dominant user of the road is the single occupant automobile. We may not like that, we may wish it would change....but ignoring it has produced what we see today on the 410 NB...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

If not GO service, what are people expected to discuss in thread entitled "GO Transit: Service Thread" ;)

I will never understand why this is just within Toronto proposal/idea.

I should have qualified, most of my trips are shorter than a week.

When travelling I always use the Value Lot.....but, in the context of this discussion you can buy this special park and ride ticket, park at T1 and pay $35 for 5 return tickets including parking ..... ......it is a good deal for a larger group making a day trip into city.

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

^they started offering that last summer.....there has been a new push advertising it so it does appear as a new thing though.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I had actually written that but deleted from my post before clicking....but, yes.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

FYI.....scotch only ages in casks....once it is bottled the maturation stops......so a crappy 3 year old blend is still gonna be a crappy 3 year old blend in a 100 years.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Either getting trains into Bramalea is not a rubber stamp kinda thing or Metrolinx has been telling pork pies for many years.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

GO ownership ends east of Bramalea....so I presume every movement into that station needs CN approval. There is at least one EB train now that starts in Malton so one WB train that ends there should not be shocking.
