    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep my eyes peeled for this. I have to stop using so many figures of speech.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

My Presto online account is now working and I noticed something about a loyalty discount but was unable to find any further information. Can anyone shed some light on a possible loyalty discount programme for TTC Presto users?

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Do all transit agencies have ten-year service agreement with Metrolinx for Presto? Do these service agreements lock in the amount each transit agency pays Metrolinx for using Presto? Finally, why were the service agreements with the 905 transit agencies renegotiated ahead of the ten-year expiry...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Just a quick and somewhat belated note to thank everyone who replied to my question; I meant to follow up on this earlier but, well, life, you know. :) I will keep in mind what everyone has said about transferring using a Presto card as you've given me some valuable information. I've created...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Okay, fair enough. But what about transferring from the subway to a streetcar? What about at Broadview station where the streetcar loading platforms are at street level and open to public access as opposed to Spadina and Union which are located within the subway stations?

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I think we should have a party when Ottawa, Queen's Park, and city hall all agree to sufficiently fund the TTC on a permanent basis. Either that or a party when Michael Ford resigns his seat on council. :D

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Well, I bought a Presto card today so I'm no longer a Presto virgin. I bought the card at a Shopper's Drug Mart and I used it right away. My first experience was satisfying although it seemed like it was over far too quickly. Such is life. I have a question. I took the subway to Spadina and...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

We should wait until the 6oth vehicle is delivered and see if there is a significant decrease in the MTBF (this would include the refitted cars in the stats). If there is not a significant decrease in MTBF should the TTC reject the vehicles and give the anti-streetcar crowd (aka the Ford family)...

    Rail Deck Park (?, ?, ?)

Hm, what about this quote from a Star article dated yesterday? "...but there is currently no funding for the early estimated cost of $1.05 billion." Source: https://www.thestar.com/news/city_hall/2017/06/09/battle-brews-over-conflicting-plans-for-rail-deck-park.html

    Rail Deck Park (?, ?, ?)

This park is just rich boy John Tory's signature project. I can't believe that our idiot mayor wants to waste $1,000,000,000 on a park when public transit and public housing are both begging for funding. Toronto should be a city for everyone not just the wealthy...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Amphibious streetcars! Outstanding! Given the weather this spring we should put propellers and rudders on them. Maybe Bombardier has finally found its corporate backbone and is doing right by the TTC!

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I don't know why the TTC doesn't just buy new streetcars at Walmart the way everyone else does.

And another story fresh from city hall. I can't say I'm too impressed with John Tory as a mayor...at least he doesn't smoke crack...I don't think... https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2017/05/09/mayor-john-tory-threatens-to-block-subway-extension-unless-province-pays-for-relief-line.html

Thought this might be interesting. It relates to both the DRL and the Yonge subway extension but I'll just post it here. http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/viewAgendaItemHistory.do?item=2017.EX25.1#.WRJrs7J-Dms.linkedin Source: https://twitter.com/FurryRiderI/status/862116244673110016

Great videos, thanks for posting them! I take the 504 on a fairly regular basis but I've never been lucky enough to catch a Flexity, not yet anyway. It's good to see them at Broadview!
