    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Does anyone believe Mlinx are stalling opening the Eglinton LRT to line up with the opening of the Finch LRT? From an operational standpoint, might make more sense to redo all system maps in one shot as opposed to multiple updates over a 6 - 12 month period.

I'll say this, having gone to games for 25+ years, the rebuilt 100 level will almost certainly be a massive improvement for the in-game viewing experience compared to the old seating deck. The issue of the 100 level not being completely symmetrical or aligned with the 200 and 500 level sections...

Indeed it does. Looks like the Korean Sky Dome only seats 16,000 for baseball. The exterior looks cool but even with a translucent roof, it's pretty unsightly on the inside.

That’s fair and understandable. I’ve heard a lot of “greedy players, rabble, rabble” type arguments over the years related to the strike. Jays website has some comparable views but based on the digital renderings. I’m sure new perspectives will come up once the project is complete...

Ted Rogers Memorial Field at Rogers SkyDome presented by Rogers is a far more appropriate name IMO

I definitely see the benefit of maintaining the existing location as opposed to the exponentially higher costs of constructing an entirely new facility elsewhere. A potential next phase should certainly focus on the exterior/outfield areas.

I've never understood the player strike argument as a reason to stop watching baseball. It's been 30 years. Furthermore, all ML sports saw an exponential rise in salaries and compensation during the 1990's, although comparatively, even today, it's far, far less than what ownership makes. That...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

To do something akin to this, the Jays/Rogers would have to remove the entirety of the existing hotel. That in of itself is probably a $300MM - $500MM project if you include installation of transparent paneling on the roof, compensating Marriott, demolition, and then reconstructing the outfield...

More updates via reddit u/RedCBToronto from yesterday: Looks like the $70,000 seats are almost all in!

Come on man, you're just trolling at this point. The old seats sloped down and faced away from the diamond the further you moved down the foul lines. It's a huge upgrade.

The 100 level changes are quite substantial and it's absolutely going to be a lot better than the previous lower bowl. It looks a lot nicer and more ballpark like already: Compare that to the same vantage point from just 3 months ago: I'd say it's a bit more than just lipstick on a pig.

Definitely digging to accommodate the new clubs/lounges but I'm thinking the new lower bowl will lie deeper into the ground to allow for a steeper incline than the original rotating bowl did.

Looking at the virtual seat viewer, you can see more details on how the new 100 level will look. The corner sections are looking much improved as the seats are now angled towards the diamond and angled up towards the concourse as opposed to sloping down. I think the amount of foul territory may...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Judging by the new renders, it appears the entire 100 level pitch will increase, more so on the baseline corners, but even in the sections behind home plate. From my understanding, the tracks underneath the stands which served the stadium's multipurpose functions, takes up a decent amount of...

Ended up buying a pair of season seats for 2024 behind home plate but a bit further up. Possibility of moving up in the section depending on renewals of other STH’s. Excited to have better sightings and cup holders (finally!). Current STH number is around 12,000 which could go up or down...

I think so. Rebuilding the 100 level deck and installation of newer seats will probably reduce it down to about 38k - 40k.

I think the Star published something the Jays/Rogers didn't want to be shown and they changed the photo to the premium seating only. It looks like the premium sections will seat about 2,500. From what I saw of the 100 level blueprint, it will be similar to what's been depicted in some of the...

Toronto Star came out with an article about the new clubs and subsequent price increases. There’s a diagram in the article that shows what the new 100 level layout will look like. https://apple.news/AleroWmaiTxGXn4Y_g6cojA EDIT: Read the article a few hours ago looks like they changed the...

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5: Kipling-Eglinton Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Precisely. Taste of the Kingsway occurs along that stretch of Bloor and certainly not between the Dundas - Eglinton segment. Although I'd argue the Kingsway stretch of central Etobicoke is more exclusive and hoity toity than the Bloor section.

Scratch that then, Martin Grove-Eglinton should probably be Willowridge then.
