    yeah dude, i worked construction for many years. i know there are heaters, but i am sure other workers would rather have the exterior sealed prior to this cold. i know i work slower when it is cold and am sure many other people do as well.

    i would have thought they finish all the concrete and glazing before winter, as construction really slows at this time. Now I think the focus should be the interior suites, since they can be more productive for that. Really really thought getting the waterproofing and exterior all done should...

    sure it can be possible but i dont think they are doing it. other projects I see are not pouring more concrete and I dont see time and space pouring more concrete. I think they should have really focused more on the north section to finish the concrete before temperatures got below zero.

    it depends on the weather. They haven't finished the top layer on both north towers. concrete should be between 10 degrees when setting. once we hit freezing, temperatures can't pour concrete. I just do regular low rise home renovations but I am pretty sure the same applies to condos

    it looks so hard to complete. investors must have balls of steel. so many things can go wrong with an ultra high rise (elevator issues, needing high pressure toilets, garbage shoots, wind noise, building swaying). this kind of reminds me of 432 park avenue

    people like yorkville for a reason, and it isn't cause of the cheap food.... just recently, harbourfront has don alfonso, but the area needs more. more unique restaurants bring more character. how boring everything would be with a bunch of shoppers drug marts and other chain restaurants

    i would prefer the waterfront not to have such massive towers....it is like a wall blocking the water. poor planning. time and space is alright only like 30 floors. and the other two new developments (power something) and the gas station one (cielo) will make time and space fit in. Not that...
