    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The new Metrolinx site says the Finch West line will open in 2023, with no such mention for Eglinton.

Does anyone know what floor they're on? Feel like it's been hovering around 18 for a while now.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Most other universities had their reading weeks in October. I know tonnes of students who are struggling to find ways to get into Toronto right now.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Still think I'm in the minority here but I still quite dislike the design of this development as a whole. The towers look like just about everything else in south core except taller. Think this new application could have been a good opportunity to make them look a little bit more interesting...

    Toronto 255 Morningside | 98.75m | 28s | First Capital | Diamond Schmitt

Wish they would have gotten this right the first time the plaza was brand new when I moved to the area in 2008. Definitely happy to see more density finally going in though, and the design looks fine enough I think. Hoping for lots of affordable units!

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I really like all the east Scarborough service changes. The new routes and 54b extension will make getting around the area considerably easier. Also really like the new route from Rouge Hill GO to the Zoo, the TTC really has got to make connections to GO stations like this more often. More...

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Of course, I never argued anything to the contrary, I was just arguing about the means of transport selected. The suburbs should be serviced by transit, yes - and MUCH better transit than the garbage that they have to offer - but why does it have to be by TTC routes? What does the TTC gain from...

commuter Bus/Rail Kitchener London and Hamilton: Ideas

There are tonnes of abandoned railway alignments between the cities and towns in the area, many of which have been tuned into trails. These could pretty easily have new tracks laid down, and maybe trails can be rebuilt alongside if they get good use. Could even be single track (with room to...

    Toronto Bloor-Yonge Station Capacity Enhancement | ?m | ?s | TTC | AECOM

https://www.ttc.ca/about-the-ttc/projects-and-plans/Major-Projects/Bloor-Yonge-Station-Capacity-Improvements The colours in the original renders were definitely a bit much. I agree this could use something other than white but I think the pop of colour on the floor showing door placement is a...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I used to but i believe there were community complaints about some of the long walks between surface stops and it not being accessible so they extended the bus service to kennedy

    Toronto 4121 Kingston | 125m | 38s | Trinity Group | Arcadis

God i hate living in guildwood half the neighbourhood is like this. The best are lawn signs against a development that is not in the neighbourhood, blocking any views as it's north of the neighbourhood, it's just close to the neighbourhood so people may see it on their drive to work.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

i mean... the busiest subway service on the continent is tunneled under parking lots and golf courses

    Durham Region Transit / Pulse

that font choice is making me ill but... good effort!

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

If they were to phase it the first phase would be to Morningside and Sheppard since the planned matinence facility is on Sheppard east of Morningside. If they go with the other potential patience facility, it could theoretically end at UTSC (more likely pan am) but they seem to be leaning...

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

I think west hill has a tonne of redevelopment and upzoning potential. The combination of an older grid from when the neighbourhood was just a small village, and the convergence of 3 major roads makes me think it could make a great little transit and development node. I'm working on a...

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

Half of their reasons for not continuing with the tunnelled option are just due to poor planning and foreign by the province on the SSE... so really this subway designed to eliminate a linear transfer is just creating another one... typical

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I mean admittedly it can't go much further east (though it should continue all the way to Kingston)

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

The Eglinton East LRT already has some funding from the city, it's just fully funded yet. The city has already committed $1.2 billion dollars to the project, and are just hoping the province or the feds pitch in the rest

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Don't think anyone is arguing that the prices are just or accessible, but rather that they are pretty standard and excepted. Unfortunately developments of this caliber aren't designed to be accessible to the general population or for those just getting into the market.
