    Toronto Aquabella at Bayside | 50.9m | 14s | Tridel | 3XN

The chunky patio trim is everything. Solid gold.

Wait, the No Frills is closing for construction? I thought the plan worked around the No Frills so it could still operate?

    Toronto Aquabella at Bayside | 50.9m | 14s | Tridel | 3XN

Side note, from the latest report, it's interesting to see that the white exterior cladding are actually porcelain panels. Was this material changed down the road? Maybe from the design review mentioning this point?

    Toronto Via Bloor | 138.37m | 46s | Tridel | a—A

We all know Tridel never intended this to have the quality or design aesthetic of 10 York, SQ1, SQ2, or Aquabella. They never saw this as the jewel of their portfolio. This isn't horrible, but it's not great. It's a B-. Overall, it's a MASSIVE improvement for the area. This project from the...

Here is some further info on the plan for the trees, etc. Not much room for cars ;) https://waterfrontoronto.ca/nbe/wcm/connect/waterfront/7eb764e6-19e0-4158-bc70-743dd0e1fad5/WDRP_Aquabella_Mar2018_WM.pdf?MOD=AJPERES

Not true at all. That is a "lane", no vehicle access will be allowed between Aquabella and Aiken Park. It is a tree lined lane with access to the West lobby and the townhomes. The detailed plans for the project lay all of this out. You seem pretty triggered.

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

What was the original plan? Because if it was just a few random (sloppy) interior lights, they're better off keeping them off...

But I wonder why they shifted away from 3XN? I imagine they could have developed a better solution than this pile of sh*t. I imagine it came down to $$$$$$$.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 1) | 231m | 70s | Menkes | a—A

This building has a lot more going for it aside from the balcony cladding. It's already a step up from Daniels. There's no way it will look as bad.

Add L Tower and 88 Scott to that list.

East Bayfront: Bayside (Waterfront Toronto/Hines/Tridel, Pelli Clark Pelli et al)

Adrian Villar Rojas has my vote. Imagine something like this in the water at Bayside? https://cfileonline.org/exhibition-theaster-gates-and-adrian-villar-rojas-at-the-2015-istanbul-contemporary-ceramic-art/

    Toronto Pier 27 Phase 3 | 149.95m | 45s | Cityzen | a—A

You know a park at the foot of yonge is already in the works, right? And another one across the street...... And design wise, this isn't the design, just a placeholder.

    Toronto Aquabella at Bayside | 50.9m | 14s | Tridel | 3XN

Well, it is designed by a Scandinavian architect. More of this please.

Agreed! But it's just a shame the build itself looks like a dog's breakfast. Fingers crossed street level will at least be approachable.

Thank you! That's wild! It felt like Bayside and Lower Don was taking forever, but it's actually moving at such a rapid rate when seeing the progress from the sky.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I don't believe there are balconies above the coils, but units. And yes, I think they are for heating.

I think it might be earlier than 2019, I don't even see Aiken Park or Aquabella started yet?
