St. Lawrence Condos at 158 Front St East (Cityzen, Fernbrook Homes) - Real Estate -

Since you're selling after occupancy (I assume to avoid capital gains), the best way to assess value is to sit tight and wait for the first few units to hit the market. You can also make some rough assumptions beforehand based on what has sold in the area. It won't take long to dig this up...

    Toronto Nobu Residences Toronto | 156.66m | 45s | Madison Group | Teeple Architects

I don't know if I'd classify this as a "sunset" shot. Sourced from the project file on UT. And aside from the colour choices, the materials where significantly downgraded as well. No wonder the real estate industry is one of the most mistrusted professions.

Toronto Maple House at Canary Landing | 89.61m | 26s | Dream | COBE Architects

This has to be the best development in the city right now. Stunning. Things are really looking up for the east end.

    Toronto T3 Bayside | 42m | 10s | Hines | 3XN

I can't wait to see the 'stepped' design in the cladding. We should start to see it come to life as they wrap the next floor.

Toronto East Bayfront: Aitken Place Park | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

It's partially retail and from what I heard, they are negotiating with a grocery story, which would bring in a lot of activity.

Toronto East Bayfront: Aitken Place Park | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I lived in one of the buildings and I look down on this park, there are actually quite a few kids in the area (in my building in particular) and using the park. This will def get much busier a few months when the daycare also opens right off the park.

I think in this case it's not an opinion but a fact. This is horrible from a technical and design perspective. It this was a school project (which it looks like), it would get an F.

Toronto George Brown College: Limberlost Place | 52.5m | 10s | George Brown | Moriyama Teshima Architects

Does anyone know if the first level and the core will be concrete like 3XN's T3?

    Toronto Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

I actually thought this was sarcasm, until your passive aggressive hashtag. Why do you feel so determined fight back at honest and justifiable opinions? IMO, "...old and needs to be revitalized" can be done well, but this isn't it. A great example of a more modern integration into the SLM...

    Toronto T3 Bayside | 42m | 10s | Hines | 3XN

Very sharp, but I was hoping for something a little more vibrant colour wise.

    Toronto Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

It's because those who like it are simply owners in the building trying to justify/protect their investment. Just an observation from seeing the UT commenters in this thread, and those talking about their investment in the Real Estate thread.

East FiftyFive (Lamb Dev Corp/Hyde Park Homes) - Real Estate -

No they are not. I just closed on a pre-construction and my fees where $6K for a larger 2 bed DT.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 1) | 231m | 70s | Menkes | a—A

Agreed, but it's done well with solid materials. Unlike the building directly to the east. I like how this one is turning out.

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Hmmmmmm... "you won't find skyscrapers like these anywhere in the world." Correct, you'll find better.

It would be GREAT if GG takes this over. Fingers crossed!

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

I'd agree with you if Forma wasn't just a few boxes. Your comparative example is stunning because it has curves, emulating movement – not because of its glazing. Forma has none of that, just cool cladding. Which, don't get me wrong, will be pretty – but I doubt it will put Toronto on the map...

Even if it was a real office, there's a good chance everyone is working from home still.
