    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

That's very possible. Personally I think Freeland could beat O'Toole, especially if they implement affordable daycare and pharmacare (as @Towered suggested). I don't think a former PM has to worry about finding gigs, especially one that's fairly well regarded abroad.

Just when I thought this project had reached the apex of beauty and sophistication the Score steps in to take it all to another level. Thank you Menkes!

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

I'd have to agree. He's probably out before the next election. People do have short memories though, so if things improve a lot over the next few years I can see him wanting to try for a 4th win. That said, all leaders have a best before date and I think Trudeau is at or nearing his.

    Toronto Harris Square | 50.29m | 13s | Urban Capital | Saucier + Perrotte

Not my favourite building in River City, but still fairly well done. Overall River City is outstanding. It's unfortunate Menkes has made such a mess of Queens Quay. I can only imagine what Urban Capital could've done.

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Exactly. There's absolutely no excuse for it.

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

I have no idea what this means. If he's as serious about truth and reconciliation as he claims then he would've participated in at least some of the events he was invited to.

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

As a Prime Minister it was very far from all he had to do. This is not a Conservative vs Liberal nor left vs right issue. It's one of accountability and living up to one's words. He failed on both counts. Even assuming there weren't Indigenous communities holding events, many of whom invited...

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Exactly. Those are the words I was looking for.

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

There was plenty of coverage in the media over the actual day. Given he's the Prime Minister and his words about reconciliation, his deciding to go on vacation is fair game. I'm glad they reported it. A lot of First Nations communities seem to be glad it was brought to light as well. If he'd...

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

I'm in full support of this day, as I am of Remembrance Day so there certainly may be some bias here (in my response). I'd say it's far more than a wee bit hypocritical - it's about as hypocritical as one can get given his position and previous words. This is why so many people have trouble...

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Trudeau flies to Tofino for a vacation with family as Canada marks first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation This is sad and embarrassing. The very definition of poor leadership.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Let's hope so. I figured this was going to be overturned. It just sets a terrible precident for fair representation Will Ford try to get away with anything else when it comes to meddling in city affairs?

    Hudson's Bay Company

I don't think Zellers is being revived, they're just playing on nostalgia. It's a fairly small section of the store. A fun exercise, but I don't think it'll make much of a difference one way or another.

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

This is the worst version yet...I have almost no faith in Concord Adex to produce something better than this rendering. Let's hope for some positive revisions.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I guess we'll see what happens with another project that has deep stations.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Is that really necessary? I thought one of the big problems with going underground was the time it would take to get to the surface. If they were going to put elevators everywhere in the first place, I guess the point was irrelevant? :p

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Who said anything about "extreme starchitect designed stuff"? And what exactly has the TYSSE shown when Toronto 'aims higher'? The lack of coverage has nothing to do with well designed stations.

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

Future demand? I"m sure they'll have transporters by then. ;)

    The Retail Apocalypse

Le Chateau appears to be coming back.

    Toronto 685 Warden | 161.95m | 49s | Choice Properties | Giannone Petricone

It's a great idea. I just wonder how effective it'll be when Federal governments are quite reticent to fund these projects in the first place. Will these requirements fly out the window when it's politically advantageous?
