    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The RL was just phase 1 of a larger project. No reason the government couldn't have continued with it and proceeded immediately to phase 2.

    Toronto 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

This is becoming quite the addition to the downtown core. Great location too.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

That's fair, however there will be a cost/inconvenience associated with downtown expansion at any point - unless it's believed this is the last downtown subway expansion that should be happening.

TTC: Bloor Danforth Line 2 West Extension(s)

It may not be connected at the start, but there's nothing stopping that in the future.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

That's fair. For me, Yonge Line Relief (which was the original goal of the line) is paramount, making a northern terminus at Don Mills a priority.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

While I'm a fan of westward expansion (and the two stations on King), he does have a point. I would've used those funds to ensure the first phase went to Sheppard before worrying about extending it to the Exhibition.

    Toronto Ontario Line: Osgoode Station | ?m | 1s | Metrolinx | HDR

Based on how they've done things so far, I think that's a fair assumption.

    Toronto Ontario Line: Osgoode Station | ?m | 1s | Metrolinx | HDR

Metrolinx plans to cut down historic Osgoode Hall trees after all At the very least, couldn't these trees be moved to a different location?

    Toronto 839 Yonge | 160.2m | 49s | CT REIT | Adamson

I don't mind the design (though it should extend to the top/bottom)...but the base looks ridiculous.

    Toronto 675 King West | 74.9m | 21s | Colonia Treuhand | Sweeny &Co

Can't say I'm impressed. Surely they could come up with a design and base that are a better fit for the heritage structure next door, and the area in general?

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

I don't understand why there's such a concern over costs with projects like this, when in the suburbs people are relatively okay with unlimited budgets. You're right - all things considered these would be very valuable upgrades.

TTC: Bloor Danforth Line 2 West Extension(s)

This is a very sensible take. An LRT would be a terrific fit for this area.

    Toronto 15-17 Elm | 99m | 30s | Fora | PARTISANS

Wow. This is very interesting. Hopefully the proposal remains mostly intact.

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

That's fairly solid restoration work. Not too sure about Bay windows though.

    Toronto 656 Danforth Avenue | 160.73m | 49s | Del Boca Vista | Studio JCI

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if firms have an AI that generates these cookie-cutter designs that could be anywhere. I understand the need for intensification, but this is a bit much. There are some established landmarks and a character to the area - why can't that guide design and...

    Toronto Malvern Town Centre Redevelopment | 130.2m | 39s | Davpart | IBI Group

Yikes. I've changed my mind. If this what they're building, Scarborough deserves all the subways they can get!

    Toronto U of T: Landscape of Landmark Quality | ?m | 1s | U of T | MVVA

It seems like a no-brainer to have consistent lighting standards here.

Problematic Park Design - Why Some Parks Don't Work

No kidding. I've been in and around the area countless times and I had no idea there was a historical landmark/park there.
