my concern now is less the visible damage, and more so whats going on behind the walls and in the hvac. respondplus (www.respondplus.ca) was in there on Saturday and a visual assessment with no moisture meter readings resulted in a conclusion of only minor damage and no fans being necessary...

Condo above mine flooded and has possibly caused damage - should i involve insurance

Thanks. I agree with what you have written - my insurance broker said my insurance won't do anything anyways, so thats not even an option. The prop manager is not really willing to do anything beyond what has already been done - my understanding is all expenses are being charged to that unit...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I know it was markham service removed...and i understand markham/york wasnt paying anything, but I feel like the ttc is cutting the nose to spite the face: Approximately 2,300 customer-trips are made each day at stops on the 53 STEELES EAST on-street loop on Elson Street. Some of these...

    Confused about HST

the purchase price is inclusive of HST AND rebate...without the clause your out an extra 24k that you then have to take the time to get back there is certainly no way that the builder is going to let you somehow come out ahead...

    Confused about HST

Re #1, not sure there is much value to be had by having HST clause negotiated out...the price you pay is HST/rebate inclusive. If you take the clause out, you will pay more on closing, to be refunded from the gov't later..but its extra work for not getting any benefit out of it...it is not as...
