Posted in the TYSSE thread, this is probably better spot: They have finally started putting on what looks to be like cladding or some sub-cladding layer on Finch West station today. It is red coloured, but that might just be a protective layer that peels off. Sorry, no pictures yet.

Don't know if it means officially that it's delayed even more but the latest capital projects report states the FWLRT as completed by 2022 whereas the newly updated website has it completed by 2021...

Looks like transferring it is a good idea. As I drove by this morning, there were lots of workers on site, as opposed to the other days where it looked abandoned.

Recent TTC CEO report mentions that Finch West poses risk to the critical path - not good - which looks like its affecting Comissioning. Also mentions that site works at Finch West have been transferred to Granscan, not sure what that means ie. Bondfield out...

They probably have bigger problems than that otherwise they would've gotten er' done by now. Don't know exactly what the problem is but Finch West is holding up the whole line from what the documents seem to show...

What makes even less sense to me is that Metrolinx postponed announcement of awarding the FinchLRT contract because they wanted to include vehicles into the bids. They did this instead of using the bids which only contained the construction costs and adding another bid for the vehicles - OK...

Wonder why it's taking forever to get the cladding on this!
