I recently drove along finch. I saw people biking and walking on the tracks. I saw some people littering on tracks. Finally I saw a car turning left drive on the tracks by mistake. I can't help but worry about delays once the line opens up.

They are part of new stores. I can't find any information of what businesses will open here.

realistically, who do you think would bid for the mall. I can see woodbine being redevelopment into a life style centre.

I'm guessing that short live proposal came with the woodbine live proposal years ago. I wonder if the finch west lrt was built long ago if it would have sprung up more development

It's been a while since an annoucment has been made on this prject but the area has been cleared. The billboard that use to be on that spot is now removed.

Mall is as dead as this thread. In seriousness only update is they repaired some of the damaged roof. And I noticed a couple more stores closed now.

As of now the LRT would pass through 22 intersections with traffic lights. My fear is the LRT would end up like the ion LRT ,which is a great project, but runs at a snail pace. The section between weston and jane is already packed with cars entering and exiting the 400, with drivers regularly...

If we had unlimited money there could have been a better way to design the Finch West LRT which would have improved speed but still serve the local community. 1. LRT should have resurfaced after passing Romfield Lane. It would allow the LRT to bypass traffic lights and avoid unnecessary...

I remember part of the deal for the development of the casino in rexdale was for the casino to open a 24 hour childcare centre. There has not been any announcement of a new childcare centre. Is that still happening ?
