    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Done and done. I’ve written the Mayor a few times regarding this issue. It’s been going on for years and years with no signs that anyone from City Hall or the TPS care. Perhaps a big plow on the front of the Flexity would work...just plow these selfish drivers out of the way.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

All the King intersections were gridlocked today. No enforcement at all at Spadina for cars blocking King that enter the instersection and can’t clear before the light turns red. Streetcars were lined up eastbound and it was ten minutes to get through. Same thing at Yonge and then again at Jarvis.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Sigh. We go to all this trouble to improve transit on King and then when there are complaints, the response is to discount parking?

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

It's possible (and I have zero insight into this) that there are a few all-but-done vehicles sitting in the factory awaiting a common part or small subset of parts. Perhaps a supplier hung them out to dry with a missed shipment. It's pretty pointless to speculate, but that could explain the bad...

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

I visited today. The view of Yonge-Dundas from the second floor is nice. Other than that, it's fairly sparse up there with a "kitchen of tomorrow" demo and a few fancy TVs. Downstairs they have some VR demos and a bunch of tables with the latest in Samsung gear.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Rode the 504 through this morning at about 7:30 AM. Couple of things to note: 1. Far side stops make a big difference in terms of dwell time. Far less time spent waiting at green lights while riders board only to have the light change red as soon as the doors close up. 2. Riders seem as...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

4447 was spotted yesterday in the east end (by my daughter) sporting a "just arrived" sign and, I assume, making the trip over to Leslie.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

The ties had "6" stencilled on the sides. Perhaps that's an indication of class...but I'm nothing more than a casual railfan and someone else might have more info on that number.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Trackwork on the LSE today at Danforth on Track 1. They are replacing the wood ties with concrete ties through the station.

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Give it some time...likely they want to allow for some settling, and also perhaps needed the path open prior to the Canada Day weekend.

Toronto Kings Club at King High Line | 57.6m | 18s | First Capital | Kasian

Today. More glass going up on the eastern end. No sign of anything going in elsewhere.

The signage again reads kingsclub.ca for this project. https://www.kingsclub.ca/

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Heading home from a trip to Vancouver, where I had the chance to see how Compass works out there. I purchased a regular, reloadable card from a fare vending machine at YVR and loaded it up with $20 in funds. They charge the same $6 for the card, but if you return it, you get that back. I also...
