    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Front Street west of Spadina is in desperate need of an overhaul. I hope that with the plans to build a GO station there the whole street can get redone and made more pedestrian friendly and visually appealing.

Waterfront Transit Reset Phase 1 Study

Okay but is a connection to Line 1 so necessary? I don't see why all this money is being spent on a tunnel to connect this line to Union station when we could probably figure out less costly connections with the Ontario Line at Exhibition and potentially East Harbour and even a future Cherry...

    Toronto Harbour Ferries

I also think its extremely shortsighted for the city not to plan a way to get into the water taxi business. I feel like its worth looking into whether public water taxi services are feasible. There’s no reason people should be paying 13 bucks (or 9 for that matter) to be on the water for five...

    Toronto Quayside | ?m | ?s | Dream

I think it's really shortsighted not to have a Distillery GO station as part of the future SmartTrack/GO RER system here. So many people who will eventually be underserved by the even more elusive East Bayfront LRT.

pardon me if it's been discussed already, but when is the height increase on The One up for approval?

    Toronto Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

tbh i was hesitant about the design too but i was recently in LA and saw the residential towers gehry designed by the walt disney concert hall and was surprised by how well this stacked silver cube design worked

    SmartTrack (Proposed)

forgive me if this has been asked before, but how will smarttrack work in reality? is it just glorified improvements to existing GO services + added stations? will it be a separate service called smarttrack? or, ideally in my opinion, will it be added to the existing Toronto rail map as...

    Church-Wellesley Village

the old pizzaiolo/dispensary spot is now completely renovated on the inside. looks like they kept some of the original mouldings but also added some new glass shelving on the north wall. i wonder what the space will be. it's all white and various tones of grey.

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

    Sounds racist, but okay.

    Toronto Chelsea Green (was 33 Gerrard) | 297.25m | 90s | Great Eagle | a—A

I'm confused; isn't that the site of the two-tower YSL Condos?

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

Wellesley Park already exists on the eastern end of Wellesley.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

In my opinion, this alignment makes the most sense were the line to be pushed south to King. I didn't take into consideration the Sunnyside GO plans though, so I don't know if it would work with this alignment. (Blue is SmartTrack, red is DRL, M are multimodal stations)

GO Transit: 50 Possible Sites for new Stations

^ I was thinking of that earlier this week; makes sense to make the line go south to King and Sudbury all the way to King and Dufferin to serve the future intensification of that site, and then to bring it north to Parkdale and Roncesvalles on Queen.

    Church-Wellesley Village

What about the space where Timothy's used to be? I saw workers doing renos in there the other day.

    Toronto 475 Yonge Street | 255.76m | 78s | KingSett Capital | BDP Quadrangle

This looks great. I'm excited to see how it interacts with everything that's being built on or proposed for that stretch of Yonge. Things seem to be heating up from Gerrard all the way to Bloor.

    Toronto Chelsea Green (was 33 Gerrard) | 297.25m | 90s | Great Eagle | a—A

This all sounds great. Can't wait to see what it looks like.

    Toronto 99 Sudbury Street | ?m | 26s | Giannone Petricone

I actually quite like this and I applaud the fact that this is happening on a side street. We certainly need to revitalize many smaller streets that have a lot of potential beyond residential uses.

    Toronto 1 Yorkville | 183.18m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Slightly disappointing. I was expecting a metallic finish, for some reason.
