Casa Condos (Cresford Developments) - Real Estate -

Hope you didn't buy, it's already started: https://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/comments/3wuvj2/psa_33_charles_st_windows_falling_down_smashing/

Is it breaking with tradition to have one of the middle floors with higher ceilings? This looks to be around 25 or 26.

You have just contradicted yourself. You first say that "The balconies are indented into the building". This would necessarily mean that the floor plans would be different. An indented balcony must get that extra space from somewhere. Then you say "the depth of the balcony changes which is...

So that would mean that some units have less interior floor space than others. ??

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but regarding the balconies, some of them look wide enough for a dining room table, yet others wouldn't be big enough to swing a cat. Is this the case?

One Bloor East Condos (Great Gulf Homes) - Real Estate -

Hmmm.... 100,000 sq.ft. of retail space available. Six months ago they only had 80,000 feet. Interesting. Either they mysteriously found 20,000 feet or someone has backed out. Not looking good, considering all the other space available in the neighborhood.

We were talking over brunch today that a high end car dealer would be ideal for some of the ground floor space here. When you think of it, all of those multi-millionaires moving into the neighbourhood will need a ride. :-> Roller? Bentley? Aston Martin? Lambo? Would certainly add a bit...

CHAZ Yorkville Condos (45 Charles, Edenshaw Homes) - Real Estate -

First a $20,000 discount for purchasers over the last year and now this. Does not bode well for those that have purchased at this "exclusive" address. Horror of horrors, having to live next door to a 'renter'. Wow. And in the 'heart' of Yorkville for pities sake.

With the balcony width varying on each floor all the way up, how on earth are they going to clean the outside glass? Really can't use a swing stage, unless there's such a thing as a stage with an adjustable width?

PATH Network Expansion (various, various, various)

You are all forgetting that connection on the north side of Cumberland Terrace food court that goes under Cumberland into the Village Arcade. It's always been a very handy way for me to return books to the Library on Yorkville on a cold winter day where you virtually only need to go outside for...

I look out on this project from my apartment and it may be my imagination, but it seems that no work has been done on the glazing since the holidays. It seems they've left the top four floors and penthouse unfinished. Too cold or perhaps just supply problems?

Crane came down yesterday. Always an interesting process to watch. Took all day though and they worked well into the night. The shaft is still in place and since they're not working today, I imagine it will come down in pieces during the week.

It will be sort of indirectly connected to the Bloor/Yonge concourse through the Yonge subway platform, so if you have a metropass it will be an easy walk through. However I really don’t think there is anywhere they could have put an actual tunnel under Bloor St. unless they went into the old...

I've watched them bring them down to street level. A vac truck comes in and cleans them all out. Then they're good to go. Let me tell you though - you don't want to be down wind when this is being carried out.

This might be somewhat out of place here, but as much as I do like the exterior design of this project, I must admit I find the placement of these balconies rather bizarre. I know I’ll probably get totally shot down for this, but the three north units have been positioned in such a way that the...

Quite a stunning "panoramic" view from their third floor infinity pool. Wow, worth $400,000 at least:

Thank you all for your expert information. It seems then that strictly speaking these panes are, by definition spandrel, but in the industry they would be more correctly referred to as balcony glazing. That does indeed answer my question. Thanks again.
