Thanks for the wonderful nighttime pictures of all the projects Redroom! Support columns have now been formed for the 49th floor on the west side, again counting by the construction elevator labels.

Wow! Thanks for all this detail BMyers. So in conclusion, the newspaper remark seems to refer to Blocks 4, 4A, and 6 (including north of the Gardiner) collectively, and is neither West Harbour City nor LTD. (For those following along at home, there is map of block numbers on the 17th pdf page...

Watertable (Public Art) Gardiner Expressway @ Fort York

Yes, the Gardiner is almost graceful and elegant in that area. It is very tall, which lets in more light and reduces the noise of the traffic. The support columns are very clean and white with no cracks, so they must have cleaned or restored them in the past few years. If go you a bit farther...

Thanks Solaris. I wonder how they are coming up with five towers in the newspaper quote?

    Toronto Parade at Concord CityPlace | 127.4m | 44s | Concord Adex | P + S / IBI

October 24 Pictures Terrible overcast afternoon, but here are some pictures. They are on floor 33 following the construction elevator numbering, which skips 13 and *4. Still no evidence of the bridge connection on the west face. The steel framework of the mid-rise roof element has been filled...

Thanks for identifying this guys. Solaris, you had a nice map of the area a while back in post 259 (11-03-2008, 05:00 PM) of the WHC thread. Where does this project fit into that?

Sorry if there is already a thread for this, I wasn't sure where to put it. I noticed the following in a Globe and Mail real estate section article today: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/real-estate/in-condo-marketing-a-gut-feeling-is-no-longer-enough/article1334381/ Is this the next...

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

Yes, it was odd. I'd always just assumed that the Bathurst Quay area had a lot of artists, CBC types, humanities profs etc. who would be really into this sort of thing, but some of the crowd was really no different than your typical angry, grumpy middle-class voters. However, reading between the...

Watertable (Public Art) Gardiner Expressway @ Fort York

October 22 Pictures I walked over to see it tonight and really liked it. Very bright and impressive, but tasteful and not gaudy. Pure blue or white lighting always seems to work this way. My only complaint is that it is so isolated. Hopefully this will change as more of the condos are finished...

    Toronto Telus House - 25 York Street | 136.24m | 30s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

October 22 Night Picture Taken from the east side of Rogers Centre. Similar to an earlier picture a few weeks ago, but they have many more interior lights on now. I really like how the ceilings appear curved, though perhaps it is just an artifact of the window system...

    Roads: Bathurst Street Bridge

October 22 Night Picture Taken while walking to the Watertable light installation this evening. I should have put the exposure higher. Someone should take a day time picture. http://www.flickr.com/photos/41002894@N07/4035835069/

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

Meeting Report, October 21 Sorry if this is a bit long-winded, but I'd rather to go to bed than edit anymore. :) I attended the meeting this evening at Harbourfront Community Centre. It was another packed room. Most of the people seemed to be from the immediate Bathurst Quay neighborhood and...
