Bliss Condos At Liberty Village (CanAlfa Group) - Real Estate -

Congrats.....I purchased the Catalina in Bliss and upgraded everything except the ceiling, floor, and faucets. I figured I could get this done prior to moving in. I upgraded my shower to the rain head and am worried about the height. Any comments on the height of the shower head from the...

Bliss Condos At Liberty Village (CanAlfa Group) - Real Estate -

My unit is not much wider. Looks like I will have to hang the TV and buy a smaller coffee table. I went by the site today and it looks like the north and south side of bliss is a dark grey and the east/west facing units looks to be a dark green. The grey looks pretty good not so sure about...

thanks for the links Simuls. The living room in one of the pics looked very narrow. Both units looked like standard suites with no upgrades (except the appliances...i think).

My first bill was over $200, however it included a $150 security deposit. My second bill to July 29 was under $30.

I understand that Liberty Towers have begun with the PDI's. Anyone have any pics of the lobby and or unit? A good friend called after completing his PDI and said the interior is comming along and his suite looked good................everything was done except for the backsplash in the kitchen...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I think many realtors earn their commissions. They pay office rent, assistants and all other business expenses out of there pockets. Many agent friends work till 11pm weeknights and always on Saturdays and most Sundays. Remember, no commissions are earned until the deal closes. I agree...

Anyone having luck getting the builder to fix small deficiencies in a timely fashion? Noticed my laminate floors sink when standing on them in certain spots...they are also very noisy in places. Baseboards are separating from the wall in several places. Emailed Kyle three weeks ago and...

need input: hardwood v. engineered hardwood for condo

I have had both laminate and engineered wood..........it's not difficult to tell the difference. When you walk on them you can tell right away. It's true a good laminate is ok but for a small place the difference is worth it. If you can afford it...go with engineered wood. Don't get it...

    Liberty Village Towers/Bliss (CanAlfa, 24 + 20s, IBI-HB)

They are using a dark grey and deep blue colour combination at Bliss......I kind of like the grey not so sure of the deep blue. I will wait to see several more floors before making a judgement. LT looks good from the north and south views......looking at the building from the east or west not...

check out www.instyle.com (Yonge Street). If you like modern condo furniture, I think it's one of the better places. The only negative is the price.

I dropped by for first time in a month and noticed some new deficiencies. I already filed my 30 day, however since then the laminate flooring is creeking and has become very spongy at the main entrance. The carpet in the bedroom is bunching up. The baseboards and trim have become unglued from...

    Liberty Village Towers/Bliss (CanAlfa, 24 + 20s, IBI-HB)

funny you should mention 550, when I looked at it in feb 2007 it was selling for $450 psf and decided to buy in Bliss at 330psf. Wake up, you get what you pay for most times!

    Liberty Village Towers/Bliss (CanAlfa, 24 + 20s, IBI-HB)

The project originally sold for between 280 to 320 psf depending when you bought. I would think the materials used for the exterior and interior are directly correlated to the amount you pay. Did you really expect great design for that price?

    Liberty Village Towers/Bliss (CanAlfa, 24 + 20s, IBI-HB)

Jaybee, I agree the project lack beauty, however, the projects you mention in your post are not fair comparisons. I like the ritz, but comparing it to LV is stupid. The festival Tower is over 850 psf and the freed properties are 650 psf.

Bliss Condos At Liberty Village (CanAlfa Group) - Real Estate -

I completed my colour selection earlier this week. They have some terrific upgrades, however the pricing on some of the items was insane (even by builders standards). Rain Head shower system and rectangle sink are outrageous. I spent alot more than I originally intended and didn't bother...

Is it a good time to buy now

It makes no difference what the builder is asking (bigger fools theory). if you believe rates are going up (even 100 to 150 basis points) and or the availability of money is getting squeezed, then now is not the time to buy. New government rules are making it harder for individual to qualify...

500 Sherbourne Condos (Times Group Corporation) - Real Estate -

Too bad Sherbourne was an investment for me. I plan on living in the King West condo. I purchased several pre construction units in late 2006 and early 2007. By far Sherbourne turned out the best for its price point. On a psf basis, Sherbourne was the lowest and turned out to be one of the...

smooth ceilings ! Are they worth it ?

Given that concrete is porous, I believe they seal it just as you would for a stone(like slate). The exposed concrete look will be smoothed out for the imperfections in the concrete. The fee is $1700. The smooth ceiling option is different. The decor person had a difficult time trying to...

500 Sherbourne Condos (Times Group Corporation) - Real Estate -

I purchased a unit at 500 Sherbourne and at another project in King West. I am impressed with everything about this project, especially when comparing it to the King West project. Standard finishes at Sherbourne were above average and upgrade prices were reasonable. The workmanship was...

smooth ceilings ! Are they worth it ?

I just went through the upgrade selection process. My unit is approx 900sq ft and comes standard with the 'popcorn' ceilings. Exposed and sealed concrete is $1700 and smooth ceilings are $5,700. I like the look of smooth ceilings, however the price seems like a total ripoff. I am making my...
