In general, every wall should have an outlet. Contact the City of Toronto Building department, find the inspector for the area and talk to them on the phone about this problem. Put it on your PDI or 30 day to make sure the issue is captured.

Harry, Has anyone asked First service when the turnover meeting will be happening? They must of reached minority ownership by now with all the closings done to the 8th floor in the past week.

Concert agreed to have the appraiser do it at my PDI. I don't think they want to do it pre-PDI and likely would be convinced to allow post-PDI. Note appraiser was in unit less than 5 minutes.

Thanks PL, my lawyer says that the Berczy condo corp has a "blanket insurance policy" and all we need is an "owner's insurance policy'. Should I interpret this as all I need is contents insurance and what other kind of coverage?

How could they possibly know unless a syndicate bought the units. I know at Market Wharf, that did happen. In fact, for Phase 1, the condo board president runs the overseas syndicate's 30 or 40 rental units for just Phase 1. They voted themselves onto the Board, likely to control costs. Suspect...

Based on Craiglist, it is a bit disheartening to see some of the good units (like the small 1 bed <600 sqft with the huge terrace on the east side) sold to an investor rather than a live-in owner. There was only one of those available in the whole place.

I believe there are 165 units. Even though Concert's marketing says they were selling to folks who would live in them, that is not realistic. My guess is that there will be a minimum of 30% of these units will be rented, and that's a low number for downtown.
