I noticed they're erecting safety fencing around the rooftop above the restaurant. Does anyone know what type of work they're planning to do?

I zoomed in hoping to get a better look at those windows, and sure enough, they do say Emergency Exit (excuse the grainy quality, but I did not have a tripod handy):

Downtown at 4am and -20'C - Smoke Break - guy went up on rooftop for a smoke (he's actually on top of a building that's a few blocks from Canada Life)

I recall reading somewhere that the building being constructed beside the hotel is supposed to be a new GUESS store.

I noticed something today on the cladding which may, or may not be cause for concern - heavy frosting (pic of west side taken at noon): If it's so easily prone to frosting, I'm wondering if it will also be prone to forming ice?

One thing to keep in mind with these low maintenance fee numbers, is that they may increase considerably after the first year of occupancy. Developers have a habit of under estimating the maintenance fees when marketing their projects.
