L Tower Condos (Cityzen, Castlepoint Realty, Fernbrook Homes) - Real Estate -

This sounds terrible, but I echo others who say this, unfortunately, is very common for pre-construction purchases - I've lived through it myself. Hope everything gets resolved quickly!

    Toronto Corktown Common | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Maryann Thompson

I figured - it was just wishful thinking on my part. Why accommodate people who actually have to, y'know, LIVE in the area? I'm done complaining now - the legacy of the West Don Lands will far outlive any minor inconvenience to people like me out for a run. I did notice temporary fencing...

    Toronto Corktown Common | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Maryann Thompson

I was wondering when the date was - thanks for confirming. I wonder if they're going to preserve some sort of access to the underpass leading to the Lower Don trail?

    Captain John's Restaurant (1975-2012)

I was walking by the ship last evening, and there was a terrible stench emanating from that general area - could it be the ship? I have no clue when it will be removed, but I'd wager it will not be soon.

Didn't someone post in this thread last year that the City refused to empty the custom designed ones? Now that the City has taken over maintenance of the park, that wouldn't surprise me one bit. If true, it would be very disappointing, but not at all surprising.

    Toronto The Carlaw | ?m | 12s | Streetcar | TACT Architecture

Found out some additional details from Streetcar: - The Crow's Theatre space won't be opening until fall 2016, for some reason. It will include a cafe that is expected to be open all day. - It appears they did retain rooftop amenity space on the 11th floor, but now it seems it's just one room...

    Toronto The Livmore | 138.68m | 43s | Vertica | IBI Group

I definitely disagree with that - investors will eat it up. I certainly wouldn't want to live there, but it would definitely sell.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Those appear to be the current regular and barrier-free gates to me.

River City Condos (Urban Capital) - Real Estate -

Many buildings downtown have zero visitor parking, I was pleasantly surprised there were five spots, to be honest.

    Evocative Images of Lost Toronto

That's amazingly well preserved. Is it possible that was painted on for a movie/tv shoot at some point? Or is this the real deal?

They just need to open up those damn trails to the side. I've tweeted Waterfront Toronto about it several times over the past year and a half, and they now basically tell me to buzz off because it's not ready, for some reason. Seriously, I cannot figure out what the liability would be to open...

    Toronto River City Condos Phase 3 | 99.66m | 29s | Urban Capital | Saucier + Perrotte

Couldn't agree with you more, however the market is speaking, and they're buying up units all over the city that have similar kitchens.

    Toronto River City Condos Phase 3 | 99.66m | 29s | Urban Capital | Saucier + Perrotte

I love my condensing washer/dryer, actually, so it's definitely not a deal breaker for everyone. Some people, perhaps, but I have a feeling you're overestimating the number of people who would care that much. The kitchen proposed for RC3, is fairly closely mirroring what's out there on the...

    Corktown

I'd be surprised if they wrap up by mid-May - they still seem to be doing a lot of work at the base of the bridge. And seriously, if the bridge is safe now, why the slow order? It can really clog things up on the bridge and the River/Queen/King intersection during rush hours. The King/River...

    Toronto River City Condos Phases 1 & 2 | ?m | 16s | Urban Capital | ZAS Architects

Having had a front row seat for this project, I can definitely say that it seems like trades are moving at a glacial pace, and yes it is a lot more complex than our typical condo projects here. Sad commentary overall, really. The completed exteriors up close look great. Re those plywood...

I hope their board gets called on the carpet in front of the minister, then.

That's good, but nothing can be done at this point. Is the OHT an agency of the Province? If so, how could Glen Murray not be aware?

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Those were pilot tests, I know they were also testing at Dundas station (perhaps others) but the test is over and regular readers are there now.

Thanks! Just placed a hold on a copy at the library.

    Evocative Images of Lost Toronto

Why would they have demolished the Woolworth building if there was no imminent development planned?
