Yeah, the diss on Eastern is not warranted. I'd welcome a smart 14 story building here. Besides, that stretch will doubtless change up again soon enough, further shaking off its somewhat bleak and crusty industrial vibe. I often find myself wondering about how long Canada Post, awash in red ink...

This project has also taken a remarkably long time to execute. Either they have substantial capitalization problems or the project is simply badly mismanaged. As it stands, it's been a bleakly comical series of cascading missteps.

It's like all their 'fixes" simply spur on new problems. Run away!!

I see this stinky carbuncle practically every day. It's unimaginably bad. Had they mastered the cladding it would still look like a spartan econobox of a building, but at least it would have been a tidy one.

Well said. It's incredible what Toronto has knocked down over the past six or seven decades in the breathless rush toward modernity. We had some good'uns in the core - real architectural gems.

As I said - looks quite clean and lovely from the appropriate distance. The nautical white feels appropriate for a build that's overlooking the lake. The above pix are so clean they resemble renders!

This is the kind of build which looks much more attractive from a certain distance... the massing is interesting, even the crisp white is OK.... it stands out quite nicely. But then you get...closer.

Sweet addition to Riverside for sure. Lovely to see that brick, those arches!

I think M3 might be very cool. As for those twisty neighboring towers? Mind not blown.
