Definitely worth a facade preservation

I know!!! I love this project the towers are quite daring but it’s such a shame to lose these lovely buildings. Specially if they restore it to its original brick colour. Is there any way to save it and demand it’s incorporated with a petition or something?

I do like the way the sides of the heritage building are being reconstructed in a similar old world flair. So I’ll take that win! It’s far better than the sides of the building currently which is essentially a blank wall. Will also give the plaza at Brookfield place a much more welcoming feel

Wish these two little heritage buildings were being incorporated too! I think it would add plenty of character if brought back to its brown/red brick facade

I’d love that! I always thought that queen street west, especially between university ave to Spadina was such a wasted opportunity. It’s one of the few stretches in the city where you have an outdoor shopping strip like you see in Europe. I think it would do wonders for the city if it was...
