    Toronto Couture The Condominium | ?m | 42s | Philmor | Graziani + Corazza

Samething could be said for X2. I think it's more of a marketing problem. Jarvis Street WAS a nice street, I know, but what matters is its current state/reputation. I heard a person in Couture sales centre once asking, very stupidly so, why Couture could not have an address with Hayden...

I much prefer Ted Rogers Way than Jarvis. Jarvis has a bad rep attached to the name. Although the street is still the same, I'm glad I can call it Ted Rogers instead. On a side note, I guess they won't be pouring concrete anytime soon on this site.....I dunno what this sales team is doing...

Went to check out the said soil sampling action on Saturday but it seems like they had reopened the parking lot. Sales centre still there and lots of people coming in and out. I didn't bother going inside asking them when this thing is going to start. They'll probably say they're still...

lets hope there will be more pressure now on Remington to return those levies. Horribly written article btw.

True. If I recall correctly, it's only the swimming pool that will be shared btween Bloor Walk 1 and 2.

Maybe they'll bump it back up to 44 stories as planned from the very beginning? Good news if it will bring down the maintenance fee :-)

I really don't trust Monarch to keep their website/inventory up to date at all.

Rouge Bijou (Downtown Markham, Remington, 10 + 3x 7s, Quadrangle)

What they should do is publish this in all major newpaper. Remington still has a lot of units left to sell and if people see how this builder practices they'll think twice before purchasing. Might be an incentive for them to refund those levies??

Verdale Condos, The (Remington Group) - Real Estate -

U've seen some units in Verdale without them or in other condo projects? I think regular condos will definitely have them. Perhaps you were looking at a high end condo? If you think about it, an average duct work is anywhere between 6 to 10 inches deep. If a 40 story high rise have concrete...

They're inevitable. If the engineers are nice they'll try to group them all in one big one but usually you'll see at least 2 running lengthwise.

 That must be embarassing for the architects, having their original design butchered like that. Feel sorry for them......thanks for sharing Solaris.

I read that someone was looking for an update for this project. I visited the sales centre this weekend and talked to Gordan (I believe that is his name). He said that sales are well above what they needed to start construction (over 80% sold) and they're looking for a place to move the sales...

I think the fake ones on Circa looks way better than the real ones they have over at Majestic lol.

The shortening happened all the way back in June (if not earlier). I didn't notice it until i saw a pricelist I got when I visited there near the end of June. A good thing that came out of that besides the possibility of starting construction earlier is that lower levels (19 storey or 20/F)...

those precast bricks looks very convincing. Are the bricks on Majestic Court across the street real or precast as well?

Thanks for all the opinions and I agree that most of the comments are from a vocal minority. Sometimes it bugs the hell out of me when most of the projects that I am reading through starts with "that building is terrible" and the likes which makes me think....what on earth do you guys want...

Something really confuses me here on this forum...A general consensus I gathered since becoming a member here back in June is that people HATE rectangular buildings becuase it's uninspiring and bland....don't get me wrong, I really like X but what confuses me is why this rectangular building is...
