Really appreciate the photo updates on this one with the aerial shots. I agree with @beautifulwar, reminds me of 432 Park Avenue, which didn’t go up without some hiccups and controversy. But as we know it was built and is an icon, no matter what your perspective is on the super tall...

Anything over 200 m is going to help with any of the traffic in the area. It’s already starting to get built up as more people come in from just outside the city say 30 minutes or less.

I would say this project and community is going to take double the projected timeline. Like you said, there are missing quite a few pieces before the holistic development is ready.

@someMidTowner don't most construction projects of this stature take a long time to build? I don't understand why this is a common complaint.

@ishiyakimo, agreed. this build seems to be taking a lot longer than usual. i was out of town and nothing looks different when I came back --wonder what the hold up is?

Took these images earlier of the One site and saw cement trucks and workers busy on below grade construction. Good sign!

@rbt Interesting - thanks for the info. I took a look at the art gallery and i'm torn - i like the current wood exterior but the proposed design for glass looks pretty cool too.

Unsure --has this project been approved yet? I know Herzog & deMeuron have builds in New York and and Miami, but will this be their first Canadian project? I'm seeing the blueprints above and i'm not sure how I feel about the pencil thin design.

@concrete_and_light i think the curves on the building add a unique element to the overall look.
