    Thornhill

First of all, I would like to say that as a resident of Thornhill, it is not so bad. I can walk to the Promenade and Disera Drive as well as the Atkinson Vivastation. Admittedly, there is an overabundance of cars and SUVs but that is probably because of the higher wealth and the perceived notion...

    Toronto CAMH Discovery Centre | 41.6m | 7s | CAMH | KPMB

This isa great idea surely to emulated by other cities soon. It is definately risky being the proverbial guinea pig in this type of project and it will be interesting to see how it works out. If this idea turns out half as well as planned, it will be a major turning point for the idea of mental...

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

That is great and great pictures too. Welcome to UT as well yonderbean. This is a good looking tower but not the most spectacular yet. However, it has a very important place in our skyline, kind of closing the gap between the Financial District and the CN Tower. I would love for more towers...

Seams to at least maintain a few elements from the Bazis proposal in terms of the podium while continuing with the 'wavey glass' Its nice, and the kitchens look GORGEOUS!

A Different View on The Garage

Pretty funny and original, that's for sure! So many of us stuck in suburbia could use that innovation...

Days Inn Carlton renovation to Holiday Inn

I disagree. Most people will hate me for this but I actually do not mind EIFS compared to what most slab-like buildings have now. That gigantic bare wall looming over Maple Leaf Gardens is horrendous to me. Oh well, to each his own right?

Wow. You can really appreciate the podium from up close... I wonder what they will sell at Real Sports (besides obvious things) because if I were MLSE, I might worry about competition from nearby CentreSports in the A.C.C. Has anybody else wondered that? Probably not...

Pacific Mall Expansion + Hotel (Living Realty, 19s?, Petroff)

True, but people in the Asian community or curious visitors who want to commute from Downtown may find it undesirable to take the 53 when they could just take the GO bus (if improved frequencies were available). Maybe Pacific Mall should learn from Vaughan Mills megamall. They have a free...

Wow. Great videos Cal (as always). I have a question. What material is the BMO logo made of at the top of the tower (marble maybe?) If anybody knows give me a holler. Thanks SVP

Four Season Gardens (Hwy 7+404, Catalia Dev, 14+13+10+9s, Northgrave)

I would bet the 'Proposed Recreational Building' has units on top of it which are not labeled in the diagram. Looking at the first render, you can see balconies on that building. Overall, it is a suburban condo. It isn't great but its better than nothing if for nothing else in adding density...

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

I wonder how they will redo the roof without too much disturbance... Anyway, I have been musing about the roof and I wondered, why not put a patio or lounge on the green roof? Via's Panorama Lounge is located at the Concourse level and it could benefit from a new location/expansion. How about a...

21 Goodwill: The Eternally Unfinished House at Wilson Heights and Wilson Ave

Me too! I was wondering whether it was a heritage building from some old farm or something.

Anybody know how the scaffolding is going to work? I would imagine there is some level of danger in installing scaffolding up the side of a 300m building. Especially with the winds that have caused one accident already... If anybody has any info it would be greatly appreciated. SVP

Toronto Ryerson's Mattamy Athletics Centre + Loblaws at the Gardens | ?m | ?s | Ryerson University | Turner Fleischer

Hmm, you learn something new everyday. Oh well, Holiday Inn has a cool new logo too. I agree however I think I may be the only one on UrbanToronto who likes stucco (even if it is ubiquitous). We shall see. SVP
