I think support for Toronto becomming it's own province just grew a lot today. It's the only way urban issues will get attention. The rest of the province doesnt give a shit about us, so we might as well go out on our own. It makes sense, so it probably will never happen.

I have to agree with the design concerns the above posters have. It is hard on the eyes, a little too bright, hard to discern between posts, the banner is too big and too bold, etc. I just might not be used to the changes, however i think some adjustments are needed.

You really need to get out more. Compared to other northern cities, Toronto snow removal is very good. Some smaller Ontario towns that I have lived in, the plow takes days to get to the side streets.

Is there a website that shows or charts the historical tax rates in Ontario and Canada? It would come in handy for arguments with my "all taxes are evil" friends, who think things were so much better years ago before that awful McGuinty guy came along. ;)

I think the real answer is to stop reading those comments in the star. Is it the same 5 grumpy old men posting those things, or 5 Albertans who need to hate on this city at all costs?
