I don't know what the techs are and don't really care.... all i know is i'm seeing superior picture quality and sharpness at AMC, and you can try to argue that till you're blue in the face but it still stands.

I went there for the first time today. The digital projection is better than 35mm by leaps and bounds. Anybody who says otherwise needs to get their eyes checked.

WOW, thanks for the pics!! I'm really glad that the previews were successful. I meant to go myself today but things came up. Do you live near there? If the chance ever comes up i'd love seeing pics of the lobby and exterior hallways...concession area etc. Thanks again dt

Yeah, people are jumping the gun. Put it into perspective, only the FIRST tenant has opened and only for one day. That one tenant has a lot of polishing yet to come, not to mention that Metropolis's character will come more and more as the rest of the tenants take up their spot.

This location is tops IMO. Better than 1 Bloor even.
