    Toronto U of T: Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport | 51m | 6s | U of T | Patkau

A huge building like that on west side of the field will be really great. Football matches often held in the evening time and I really couldn't stand the dazzling sun going down right behind the field every time I watch a game there from the seating.

Toronto needs somebody like Obama. Somebody who's not afraid of a big change (or improvement) for better and who actually have the strength to make the change. Some people say "those good things are impossible to achieve in reality" only because "they" can't. Those ordinary people are not good...

And why is that? Btw, sorry, how old are you? 60s or 70s?

I wish they just undergrounded that great wall of Canada between the barbaric Great Lake and civilized city of Toronto first. Unlike the great wall of China, it is simply ugly and horrible monster which creates a lot of uncomfortable noise and direct pollution no matter how hard people try to...

I really liked those indoor trees on the marble(?) floor... Do they still have them?

Can someone demolish one of those ugly churches in the city and build a replica of Notre Dame de Paris or something equivalent to that? (Joke, but it'll be actually nice if that really happens)

    Toronto/Montreal comparisons (ain't pretty...)

About a month ago, I was in a bank near Pape Station. (I was just waiting for my friend using a banking machine.) I happened to be standing right beside the entrance/exit door, and I opened the door for a woman trying to go out. After she passed thru the door she said "Merci"

How Can Toronto improve? How can Toronto become a better city overall?

Another golden spot Torontonians mustn't neglect. When I look at that building from the Bay & Bloor crossing, I see a grand possible future for Bay street. People should at least put something equivalent to Met Life building in NYC or the Chicago Board of Trade Building in that location.

How Can Toronto improve? How can Toronto become a better city overall?

When I look at the grid system in Toronto, I see imperfection and that somewhat bothers me. We could finish the job and make it more handsome, complete, and efficient.

    1. Linguistic diversity is a wonderful and surely "enjoyable" thing. But what if people of this country basically can't even communicate with other people of the country? How many people on the streets in Toronto or Vancouver do you think can speak French? not to mention that we have a lot of...

    Toronto/Montreal comparisons (ain't pretty...)

I guess Canada has to choose one. A) Arguments and confusion lasting forever in the fake(never-complete) peace. B) Suffering(?) of 1 ~1.5 generations (20~40 years) and happy ever after in truthful unity and harmony. Make no mistake, I'm not just talking secretly to English speaking Canada. I'm...

    Toronto/Montreal comparisons (ain't pretty...)

Isn't what people (tkip, lead82, syn,...) are saying so true? I don't want to accept that but after traveling back and forth between Montreal and Toronto, I think what they're saying is SO TRUE! But another truth that I believe in is Toronto's not born to be a total bore or a big ugly. Some...

    Toronto/Montreal comparisons (ain't pretty...)

Yes, I think you're right. I also think that people should be able to appreciate the value of things have whether it's a diamond or just a rock. But the World that we live is not as nice and appreciative as many of us, sometimes ignorant and cruel. People don't buy product A if it's is less...

How much simple and clear can I be here.. I can tell you what people(happened to be mostly Japanese) around me shortly talked about Toronto and Montreal, during last 6 years of my stay in Canada. 2005 Fall Some of people(mostly Japanese short term visitors) I used to hang out with said and...

Looks gorgeous. It would have been nicer if it was just about 3 stories taller and sharper, but what it is now nice too. :)

    1) I was not attacking. I was actually begging or politely suggesting. 2) I dislike French Canadians(or Quebecois) only when they shout out "don't speak English" or "Vive le Quebec libre!" 3) I didn't see somebody provided a link for conversion but it he/she did it's very nice of him/her. I...

Don't make me side with French Canadians which I actually don't like so much because of their passion towards separation. I saw a person in Montreal holding a picket sign when the royals were visiting there. "No speak English" (not even "Don't" speak English). If you're saying people shouldn't...

Please excuse me for interrupting you but could you please write those numbers in metres as well ? I don't understand how high it is that you're talking about. This is a metric country I thought? or is it Canada rather wants to stay as a economic and cultural colony of the US instead of becoming...
