    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Back to the topic...with the annoucement last week, which seems to be welcomed by many...now my realtor is telling me, it is in fact creating a "mini bubble". From now to April, all those first time buyers or investors depending on the 5% are rushing into the market before the 5% is finlly gone...

700 sq. ft. floorplan for laneway loft with centre couryard

That's right, on the outside facing of the "light-box" courtyard, there should be a layer frosted glass...as it is opening to neighbour's backyard...that's why there's limited window space...but does not prevent us from creating courtyard openings.

700 sq. ft. floorplan for laneway loft with centre couryard

Hey guys, I am designing a one floor, one bedroom laneway loft. One challenge is to have natural light. So I have designed a narrow courtyard to be the centre piece of the whole loft. Let me know what you guys think? The loft size is 20 ft by 35 ft.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

When RE investors do put more than 5% to save CHMC insurance etc...they can always cash out their capital by HELOC... It's still liquidity... So more than 5% won't hurt real investors with sufficient funds...it will keep pure speculators that want dangerous investing (pre-constructions they...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

It's indeed the BORROWERS~!! Coz they are smart You know what, I would go for the 5% down + 35 years too even though I have the cash...with such low interest rate who would not want to free up some cash and wait for the "bubble burst" to scoop some deals? The question is not how many people...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Unless you purchase compulsory mortgage insurance. CMHC mortgage insurance chart here: http://www.cmhc-schl.gc.ca/en/co/moloin/moloin_005.cfm For a 5% down, 35 years amortization , you need to pay: 2.75% + 0.40% = 3.15% premium. If a standard 5 yr mortgage is at 4% fixed rate...then to get...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

And also...I am interested to see the volume of sales last year.
