Yeah, I feel like most people don't realize how easy it is to get a gun in Canada. I had a friend in University that had like 6 different semis and it blew my mind because I had always thought that Canada had really strict guns laws.
As much as I hate the idea of more surveillance, it might be necessary at this point. You would hope that more cameras would at least deter some people from engaging in violence.
It is. I drive past it every once in a while and it just seems like nothing changes or very little has changed. At the very least it's progressing much slower than most other developments. Can't imagine what the neighbors are thinking lol.
This might be an unpopular opinion but i really think that new condos like this should be sold to people who will live there. This place isn't even finished and there's 47 units for rent . That many units getting scooped up for rentals has to have some impact on affordability.
Seems like it was thrown together by somebody who just googled transit systems. Chicago was pretty efficient when I was there, but I doubt it would be the 6th best system in the world.
