    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

A construction worker has confirmed that the Joey's restaurant is moving forward for the location. He said they were waiting for the sidewalk work to be completed.

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

I really hope Casa builds the hat like in the drawing. It would definitely add a splash of class to the building, especially if it lights up at night. Toronto needs more signature buildings like this one. Do you think they'll be condo rentals in this building? I imagine the rents would be...

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

....finally some answers why the exterior Toronto Life Square signs have not been installed. Perhaps a new owner will breathe some new life into the square with structural and aesthetic improvements.

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

Are they still including the "hat" topping on the building? They should.

Toronto St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

It'll be great when it finally starts making an impact on the skyline. I think the rooftop lighting spire will add value to the area's presence.

Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

Has anyone heard if a retail store or restaurant will be occupying the historical fascade section on the first floor of the building?

    City-TV & OMNI-TV's H.Q. (formerly Torch, Quadrangle)

Blog provided interesting insights into the new Breakfast Television home. I was hoping the host was going to reveal exterior fascade rendings. If the desks and chairs are under plastic, then the opening cannot be that far away.

    Toronto Bloor Street Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Bloor-Yorkville BIA | architectsAlliance

So looks like work on Bloor between Yonge & Avenue won't really occur until Spring 2010.

    The world's most liveable cities—Toronto #15, Vancouver #4

Well it's obvious that city excitement (vibrant nightlife, culturally rich, city buzz, etc.) is not a measure. I find this hard to believe because such a factor would raise the standard of living in so many ways: stronger social fabic through culturally rich activities, festivals, events...

    Toronto Bloor Street Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Bloor-Yorkville BIA | architectsAlliance

Does anyone know when the granite sidewalk and tree insertion work will begin between Yonge and University/Avenue road? I can't believe the city has let the dying trees in front of 5-star retail venues continue to stand along Bloor Street. What an embarrassment. This renewal and reconstruction...

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Does anyone know what the construction is about on Front street across from the new RBC tower? There are pics of it on this thread. New condo?

I agree. The builders seem to be taking their time completing the restructuring. You would think Rogers would want this done ASAP for branding and promotional reasons. I can't imagine prolonging Rogers stay at the CTV building on Queen West is comfortable by any means.

    Church-Wellesley Village

What is going on with Crews & Tangos? What a waste of opportunity being closed.

I hope the red tower thingy has been changed. It looks bizarre.

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

I think Toronto Life hasn't installed the signs yet because of financial reasons. I'm sure the recession isn't helping. All we can do is hope for new property owners/management to spruce it up. A lost opportunity until that time. Think of how many tourists take pictures of the building when...

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

I actually e-mailed the advertising/PR people at Toronto Life about 2 weeks ago to enquire about the signs. I have not received a response to date. I'd suggest calling them directly. I think it's a sad case that the signs have not been installed. It would have capped off the building...

If BT is being produced in the studio as early as August, then I hope we see some speedy new signage installation/exterior changes soon!

This whole debaticle could be avoided if Rogers coughed up their renderings. As for the wiring timeframe, the former Toronto One station assembled its wiring in less than half the time as this building. Thanks for the info. regarding potential move-in dates. At least it puts the...

    City-TV & OMNI-TV's H.Q. (formerly Torch, Quadrangle)

I guess Rogers didn't take lessons from Trump in maximizing PR opportunities. :P "internal wiring infrastructure" just beginning - haven't they been doing wiring since last summer? They can build buildings faster than they have revamped this one. Unbelievable.

    City-TV & OMNI-TV's H.Q. (formerly Torch, Quadrangle)

Anyone know why Rogers has been so secretive regarding the final design of the building? You would think they'd want good PR in advance. The building looks like it is almost done. The internal lighting is installed. At this point, I would imagine the work would involve new signs, CITY TV...
