    Toronto The Yorkville Condominiums | 104.54m | 31s | Lifetime | Wallman Architects

I thought there was talk of those windows being popped out and flipped? Is that still happening? 'Cause it looks a damn mess.

    Toronto Pears on the Avenue | ?m | 20s | Menkes | P + S / IBI

Dour means gloomy and severe, not boring. This one casts a pall. :) And it just looks cheap to me. Not much more to elaborate on as it's an opinion. There's absolutely nothing special, remarkable, or even interesting about this development.

    Toronto Pears on the Avenue | ?m | 20s | Menkes | P + S / IBI

This just looks cheap and dour in person.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Rueben Devlin is former Ontario PC Party Prez and led the campaign to oust John Tory as Party leader. Connect the dots.

    Toronto King Charlotte | 114.9m | 32s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

    Looks similar to Five's cladding.

    Toronto The Yorkville Condominiums | 104.54m | 31s | Lifetime | Wallman Architects

Also, test glass has been installed on one balcony on the north-east facing facade. Looks sharp! This is going to be a beauty.

Ïce Condos (Lanterra Developments, Cadillac Fairview) - Real Estate -

That is one hot bar sink in the kitchen, but where the hell am I supposed to wash oversize pots?

    Toronto Theatre Park | 156.96m | 47s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

An unmitigated aesthetic disaster without rhyme or reason when you consider the high quality cladding on the rest of the building. The differences from original render for the mechanical would have been forgiven if only the cladding had been consistent throughout. Missed it by that much.

Fashion House Condos (Freed Development) - Real Estate -

Freed's kitchens are absolutely brutal. Who the hell just has shelves?
  10. V

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Looks like Robbie didn't make it to the US after all....

    Toronto U Condominiums | 183.79m | 56s | Pemberton | a—A

The green glass is just awful. The motif could have worked, but it just clashes.

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

They've put a huge banner up for this on the south-facing facade of The Britt.

    Toronto U Condominiums | 183.79m | 56s | Pemberton | a—A

It was looking really sleek. And then this. Ugh!

    Toronto Yonge & Rich Condominiums | 156.35m | 46s | Great Gulf | a—A

LOL! A "special information feature" from the Globe. So "innovative" of GG to combine two condos in one building! Barf.

    Toronto The Britt Condos | 142.03m | 41s | Lanterra | Arcadis

Also U Condos just a bit to the north. A lot of development in this area.

    Toronto CHAZ | 150.87m | 47s | 45 Charles Ltd | P + S / IBI

Agreed. When I look at the cladding here, I think "office building in Mississauga".
  17. V

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

Looking better the higher it gets.
  18. V

YC Condos (460 Yonge Street, Canderel Stoneridge) - Real Estate -

Condo fees for this one are going to be astronomical. Can you imagine the maintenance and upkeep for that pool? Yikes.

    Toronto The Britt Condos | 142.03m | 41s | Lanterra | Arcadis

They actually dropped prices for (rather than simply incentivize) the smallest units in order to move them. The 70% sold announcement is also splashed across their website: http://thebrittcondos.com/main.html
