Those are some stellar pics there, TroyGuy! Thanks a lot for those. To truly appreciate the sheer beauty of this building you have to be at the bottom and then look up as you move around it. Just don't trip :p

    Toronto River City Condos Phases 1 & 2 | ?m | 16s | Urban Capital | ZAS Architects

As per Waterfront Toronto's March Newsletter: "Residents are beginning to occupy 47 Lower River Street, one of two buildings in the development’s first phase. While the building is largely complete, there are still a few final construction activities underway including the installation of the...

Thanks, greenleaf. The scale and proportion of the towers look great in the elevations. Really like the treatment of the balconies, too. But it's going to be a difficult fight here.

I always think of One Bloor as being the most delayed since being initially launched by Bazis International a year earlier in Q4-2007. But they did have a great excuse for not starting construction being cancelled and all lol. What's U's excuse? I have a feeling that the new One Bloor by GG...

Love the glass, too. Was hoping for something eye catching here. Red certainly does the trick. A few fun colours never hurt anyone...and especially at a tourist destination after all. Should look really cool lit up at night and complimenting the blue and red of the Rogers Centre, too.

I agree that wind can be a factor, like I mentioned above. I just don't want people to be discouraged from above-ground gardening because of wind or other apparent factors. As for over-watering, I wouldn't be buying any pre-planted containers as sold at grocery stores or nurseries. These are...

The Delta is going to be stunning. Thanks a lot for all the photos today, sMT. Amazing shots!

YES! More trees and green in balconies and terraces, please. And what does this not "natural" argument mean exactly haha? That made me laugh. Most landscaping in people's front yards and backyards in ground-oriented housing was placed there at some point by a human being. Not very "natural"...

haha, yes! That would make more sense. I learned something new today, thank you. I can't wait for this to open. Little kids are much better than me, however, at retaining information, so I will be sure to bring along some nieces and nephews who can make fun of me for remembering nothing...

Thanks! Fiesty little guys. I'm sure that they would need their own (concrete) aquarium lol.

    Toronto 155 Redpath Condominiums | 120.39m | 34s | Freed | a—A

Thanks a lot for the link to the John Bentley Mays article, fedplanner. Great piece! The ground floor sounds amazing. I do like the little landscaped "vignettes". But, I do LOVE the sound of the little waterfall and the "fire-fountain installed in the ground-level pool"!! That's a really...

    Toronto Motion On Bay Street | ?m | 29s | Concert | IBI Group

Nice. For a relatively affordable purpose-built rental building, I think that those are decent finishes.

Such a beautifully designed rental building. Love the pic from across the intersection. So...we have an RBC coming here...and...??? anything else confirmed?

    Toronto Ripley's Aquarium of Canada | 13.11m | 2s | Ripley Entertainment | B+H

Yes. I'm sure that removing that amount of live rock needed to recreate a "reef" directly from the ocean would be an impossible and/or very controversial/illegal undertaking. Don't think that would fly in 2013. I'm sure the ocean would like to keep some. Once the tanks are filled with water...
