If you look at the last few pictures in this post by someMidTowner you can see several small windows open on the north face where there are no balconies. It also looks like the other three sides have balconies for all.

You’re very welcome CanadianNational. skyrise, I don’t know what that space is for. It looks like a condo without drywall. It would make a ‘money’ small studio or office though. Someone at UT probably knows what the plan is.

Thanks someMidTowner. We started a beam and slab on level 61.5 with the pump but it must have been camera shy because it stopped. We got about 30 cubic metres in with the pump and did the remaining 42 metres with the crane. It was weird, several trade secrets were required.

Maybe someone can photoshop those buildings into this phone pic from this afternoon. There is a concrete bucket in that picture somewhere.

The ICE towers are definitely not the first residential buildings with mass dampers. The L Tower has a Liquid Mass Damper and 1King West has one but I can’t remember much about it. There are probably others.

There is potential but it’s a hard sell. I will continue to try to recruit. Those are big windows.

More ironwork from today and I must say, these guys are good at it. The snow didn’t seem to bother them much.

First picture I could get of the westbound vapors from Redpath, 23/01/13. I’m sure it happens but not that often. I’ve never smelled it though so it could be ripe there on days like today.

It was too cold to try to hold a camera still. I couldn’t resist, it may be a dependency. First three, 24th Floor What can I say, I like crane pictures. Looks kind of like an Alfred Hitchcock caricature.
