    Toronto XO Condos | 53.64m | 14s | Lifetime | Core Architects

At least according to some of the renders above, it looks like they will be keeping the Burger King sign as a heritage component? :p

    Toronto The Residences of 488 University Avenue | 206.95m | 55s | Amexon | Core Architects

Agreed. Of all the hulking concrete masses on University to erase, this one would have been my last choice.

    Toronto Market Wharf | 110.33m | 33s | Context Development | a—A

I recently moved out of this building and I can honestly say it's the nicest place I've lived in Toronto. I loved coming home to that view down Market in the evening.

    Toronto Sun Life Financial Tower & Harbour Plaza Residences | 236.51m | 67s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

I must say I'm happy to see the Maple Leaf Square towers go from the skyline view of the city from the island. I also noticed while driving past the other day that photos don't really give the metal panels credit for the way sparkle and change from brown to gold in the sun.

Toronto Boulevard Club West Wing Replacement | ?m | 2s | Teeple Architects

As I was running past I noticed that there were people inside working out. Here is the view from the other side of the road.

Looks like they're testing some samples.

    Toronto Monde | 149.95m | 44s | Great Gulf | Moshe Safdie

Although Monde is not mentioned, this is an interesting TED Talk by Moshe Safdie on the relevance of high-rise housing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-KnaYZJg48#t=104

    Toronto Bay Adelaide Centre | 217.92m | 51s | Brookfield | KPMB

I think that the mirrored glass of the podium gives a lot of lightness to what is actually quite a large and heavy box. With the way the second floor hangs from the third, and the transparency of the glass that (according to the rendering) will be installed, I think this podium could almost float.

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

You can really start to get a sense of how sweeping those curves will be moving up the outside of the tower. It's very elegant.

It's also important to note the amount of construction waste that will not be headed to a landfill by electing to keep much of the existing tower. Whether or not this was a factor in their decision, I don't know.

    Toronto Hotel X (was Hotel in the Garden) | ?m | 27s | Exhibition Place | NORR

http://www.libraryhotelcollection.com/#hotelxtoronto There are some renders here of the interiors from the Hotel Group's website. I can't tell whether the decor is going to be outrageous, or if that's just the Sims-esque graphics.

A quick one in the fog yesterday via iPhone (Aura looks like Sauron in the distance).
