    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

Never be afraid to question, ask questions, demand answers and refuse to accept the first thing that is presented to you.

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

    a) yes I believe you did call me that...and even if you did not, you insinuated it...however, thank you for rescinding that b) maybe not everyone reads into (not much) as you do....it usually means in colloquial English that I am not, but I have certain misgivings, which I have stated already...

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

btw Gristle...ironically I just read something this evening that you should pause to consider....it just appeared...it is a Navy Seals account of what really happened the night the got Bin Laden....much different than the government account put out for public consumption...I reiterate...I am not...

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

Also.....I have never suggested that there was a conspiracy.....only that there are many anomalies. The point I made about not being much of a conspiracy theorist....is just that....I am not one.

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

Again...you love to interpret what others have to say as your own fact! I brought up what I said as they are my own thoughts! I would assume that everyone is entitled to their own misgivings about anything that they have been told....Would you not agree. I said that I have certain misgivings...

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

You're absolutely correct Gristle....nothing I said implies a conspiracy...you don't read carefully or well...I said "I have NEVER been much of a conspiracy theorist, but I don't accept the official story wholeheartedly anymore." That does not imply I believe in a conspiracy theory whatsoever...

Licenses and plates may loom for Toronto cyclists

I have to license my two indoor cats and they use NO city services and are never outside of my home. Costs me 30 bucks a year. Makes me think that we should license children if you keep them in your home. I digressed. I have lived all over the province. As a child, I distinctly remember my...

    Toronto Sun Life Financial Tower & Harbour Plaza Residences | 236.51m | 67s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

I notice that the floor heights in condos tend to make multiple storied buildings seem much shorter than office buildings. I have a question though....I'm hoping someone might be able to enlighten me....how much slope to the lake from King/Bay is there to where these buildings will be? Will...

    Gay Toronto in the 1970s

The night before I left for Brazil, I saw Eartha Kitt there....she was amazing! When Tina Turner left Ike...she was playing trade shows etc. ....she loved playing the Imperial Room...she felt Canadians (mostly gay) made her feel like a superstar in that room.

    Gay Toronto in the 1970s

Rawhide was a Golden Griddle at one time...I remember eating there. Rawhide was owned by George Hislop. It was originally called Rogues. Interestingly, the night that a certain MPP conservative (London) crossed the floor and voted to entrench being gay as protected under the Ontario Human...

    Gay Toronto in the 1970s

Just remembered...there was Maloney's for a short while...across from Women's College Hospital...big straight bar that went gay....dance place. There was also, The Bloor Street Diner when it was on Bloor (coffee and dessert after the clubs), The Cafe New Orleans corner of Yonge/St. Nicholas...

    Gay Toronto in the 1970s

I came out in 1979. My brother and his friends (homophobes then, but not at all today) were teens. They used to laugh about calling 923-gays. I got curious and when I was alone called it. Couldn't believe my ears. Found out there was a group called Gay Youth Toronto. Called a number of...

    Toronto 240 Markland | 33.2m | 9s | Carttera | Arcadis

Glad to read this...I used to live at 210 Markland....loved living there, but it was a "tower in a park" .....this area could use some density along Bloor.

Should Toronto Have A Set Of Standards for Potential Mayors?

I don't like the idea of limiting the job for Mayor to only those who have university degrees. 1) I have 3 of them and I would never vote for me as mayor....I just don't think I have what it takes 2) I've known a lot of people with degrees who are as dumb as stumps...couldn't think their...

    Toronto Nicholas Residences | ?m | 35s | Urban Capital | Core Architects

Her name was Voula...loved her! Whenever I went in for dinner, I always had the coconut cream pie....Voula would try to outdo herself every time by burying my plate in whipped cream....she used to howl with laughter when she'd see the shock on my face!

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

I have never been a conspiracy theorist about 9/11. I watched the video Loose Change, and I have to admit I don't accept the "official" story whole-heartedly anymore. I think the "puts" on airline stock and the insurance policy on the WTC seem just a bit too coincidental...but there were other...

    CNE Air Show

I'm not a fan of war machines...but I was at the airshow in the Corporate VIP area today....I have to admit...I was impressed! The show was amazing and even though I don't like war stuff.....it's great to know that there is technology that keeps us safe from countries that would love to overrun...

Toronto Sherbourne Common, Canada's Sugar Beach, and the Water's Edge Promenade | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Teeple Architects

No...they were round .....probably more like seats for one....and they were striped and swirled and multicoloured....they looked like the hard candies your grandmother would keep in a glass bowl on the coffee table. I distinctly remember them in a rendering way back.

Toronto Sherbourne Common, Canada's Sugar Beach, and the Water's Edge Promenade | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Teeple Architects

Not sure if it has been written about on here...but if my memory serves me correctly, weren't there supposed to be multi-striped, round candy-like benches or something at Sugar Beach?
