I always thought Sephora was going into the old Jacob space at Manulife Centre. But with its redevelopment plans now moving along, not sure if they will land somewhere in the new space, or if they will find their new home elsewhere along Bloor.

I suspect that it's strictly an office play, but given that the hoarding is right in front of the main entrance, won't know for sure what they plan on doing, maybe an office/showroom use. I didn't get a good chance to read all of the messaging on the hoarding, but it seems a bit overkill for...

Well back in 1984 it was RPM and we'd go down for the all ages Sunday.....great venue. Anybody else remember the different themes they would have inside.......Don't know what it was prior to that.

Yes both Whole Foods and Loblaws are going to try their best and bring to market these "experiential" and "lifestyle" uses into their grocery spaces, but to me Eataly truly understands how this is done, and can't be matched.

The new retailer(s) that will fill this void will be definite game changers for this community.

I agree, it's not good enough. However, it's a cost-effective way for the LL to enhance the space and at the same time increase the GLA and hopefully attract new tenants into their building. I know, path of least resistance. Let's hope they do a decent job though with the new envelope.

Well it's going to look much better than the basic render above, however it's basically going to look like a complete glass building wrap. This will certainly make the current building "pop" out and connect better with the sidewalk/street.

Don't know of Jollibee Burgers has been discussed here - but do we know where their first location(s) will be?

I wonder if they know there's a GBK in the UK.....so they've change Gourmet to Great....should that be enough? Anyways the GBK in the UK are by far the best fast casual burger I've had, hands down. Can only wish they'll consider expanding into Canada.
