    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Looks can be deceiving. The One’s huge columns makes everything next to them look small. If you walk or drive by Yonge & Bloor you will be stunned by how huge the building is relative to the impressions you get from looking at pictures. I have not walked or driven by this one in over a year so I...

I think there are only 49 res floors to go (mechanical sections are included in the floor count) but regardless I don’t see it topping out before late spring or summer 2025.

I would guess it is the site plan. M1 and M2 have huge podiums so the entire sites are much bigger. I think for M3/4 the sites are smaller so they might’ve added another level or perhaps the parking spot/unit ratio could be lower.

I think M city had 6 levels. It took them about 6 months to dig and about 6 months to build so roughly 1 year from shovels to reaching grade. In this case you are probably looking at ~ 20 months to reach grade.

Have you actually lived in Mississauga and tried to do without a car ? I lived downtown for 20 years and I mostly didn’t have a car or rarely used one and I was happy because all the stuff and places I needed on a daily basis were within walking distance and a car was needed only for going out...

This looks like cladding on the mechanical section?

Not sure how you uploaded them but they look like they were screen captures from an iPhone. It shouldn’t happen if you used the “Attach files” button and then selected the files from your photo to library.

So, 15 days to do the first level of this mechanical section. That is a big improvement from the previous section (level 17), even if you take into account the inclement weather back then.

If you look at the below image cropped from a previously posted image by @Benito , you see that the floor has the same attachments as those used to affix the regular cladding. So I think these will be used to attach some sort of railing or wall.

These protective nets have been up and moving up among the different floors for the last 2 years so they are just there to catch falling debris. If the lower floors were to open prior to tower completion a more sturdy platform would be erected. I think they will attach that to the first...

Yes, they are doing the 37th floor.

This floor will be another forest of rebar.

Especially for this development where it would’ve been in the best interest of Oxford to have a path connection to the mall. I am surprised they didn’t think/plan for it.

The rental market is on fire so that would make sense and perhaps they have applied to the city to modify the application but I have not seen/read anything to indicate that.

In the middle picture, it looks like they have installed a concrete pump already. I have not seen them install them underground before as they usually use mobile pumps at grade level.

I can’t see them doing shoring and excavation any time soon since they have not event started selling this. So they will most likely prepare the site and build a sales centre.
