    Rail Deck Park (?, ?, ?)

Not to mention the fact that they were there long before the condos.

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

I'm guessing it will end up as something like Newark's airport rail station, where the LINK train is extended to a station on the Kitchener corridor servicing frequent regional and intercity trains.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Montreal has a good example of this with Les Halles de la Gare in between Central Station and the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.

Not necessarily....VIA and AMT departures appear on the same board at Gare Centrale in Montreal.

What is the West Wing TD Credit Card Lounge? Is it intended to be private like Via's Business Class lounge or open to the public like the CIBC lounge at the UP station?

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

I would have loved something like this when I was living in Chelsea, where the only options for getting into the city were a) drive or b) two inbound/outbound peak hour STO buses daily (weekdays only). Not sure if the passenger demand justifies the proposed scope of the network but I really hope...

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Thanks very much for the ridership forecasts, good to see there is demand for such a service. (Admittedly I'm biased as I live near St. Clair and Caledonia.)

Is there a reason (aside from cost) why the RL isn't planned to go any further north than Dundas West (i.e. up to the Crosstown Line/Mt. Dennis)? Is the UP Express and Go RER enough to handle current and projected demand?

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

Has anyone been on the trains and/or in the stations since yesterday? Just curious if the reduced fares are having a noticeable effect on passenger numbers yet.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Reminds me a bit of Les Halles de la Gare in Montreal (but roomier)

    SmartTrack (Proposed)

I have a feeling Go RER/SmartTrack will end up looking something like Sydney Trains (formerly CityRail) - a hybrid subway/commuter rail system with a mix of bilevel EMUs and DMUs running at (near) metro frequencies: The network map kind of resembles our current GO lines:

Seattle's LINK light rail is elevated for large sections and uses pantographs, if I remember correctly.

TTC: Lower Bay Station (closed to public)

Interesting read...I had no idea about the abandoned Cincinnati subway. (Also laughed out loud at the guy who claims the High Line was "ruined"). Incidentally I've long had this crazy idea of a Bay St. shuttle running from Lower Bay to Union with a stop at Lower Queen as an alternative to the DRL.

Oh wow I need to watch that video again...thanks for the info. Yeah there really is no other way into Hamilton (aside from maybe branching off the CN line through Dundas then back along the old TH & B corridor, which would probably be even more expensive.)

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

Not to get too off-topic, but I'm curious as to how Metrolinx is planning to deal with the section of track on the Lakeshore West line between Aldershot and Hamilton, specifically the portion that runs next to/under York Boulevard. There doesn't appear to be much if any room there to expand...

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Just as the Yonge subway replicated/replaced the (over capacity) Yonge streetcar line, and the Bloor subway replicated/replaced the (over capacity) Bloor streetcar line, it seems to me that the most obvious option is to have the DRL simply follow the (over capacity) 504 streetcar line. South...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Was on one of the new cars today and noticed the "SpaDEEna" mispronunciation has been corrected. It sounds a little garbled now but the automated announcement definitely says "Queens Quay and SpaDYna".
