Agree w all comments.…but still a great spot for homes. That’s about the only thing going for this project.

This looks pretty dire to me.

    Toronto Oscar Residences | 37.14m | 9s | Lifetime | Turner Fleischer

I’m struggling to find anything I like about this project from an architectural standpoint.…but more housing…so that’s positive.

Can't wait for the brick installation to start.

This seems like a flawed argument. We need all the housing we can get and this location seems perfect from all aspects. The site can really only be developed once. Building, repairing and maintaining the necessary infrastructure would likely make more sense.

Is it just me...or is this a very obvious, piss-poor rip-off of the Gairloch project at Bayview and Eglinton?

I guess this is what happens when Councillor Jaye Robinson doesn't want to accommodate the built form requirements for a LTC facility. Shame...although great for the 50k/year/kid private school that needs more green space.

    Toronto 1334 Dundas West | 13m | 3s | Centrestone | Gluck Partnership Architects Inc

Building looks precisely like someone half cared.

Approved at the OLT after what sounds like a pretty pathetic appeal from the immediate neighbour. Decision reads like the neighborhood thought he could design the building for the developer and convince the member it was better. Too funny.

    Toronto 3239 Dundas West | 29.4m | 8s | Gairloch | Batay-Csorba

literally the coolest aspect of the project and Staff is worried about it. Too funny. With an architect like Batay they should be encouraging freedom and creativity. Pushing them to do something special.

I'm not sure this image or video should be taken seriously. Great site though.

Is this a rental building or a condo? Any idea when they will get started? Approval was a year ago now?

This one is going to have quite a presence as you approach it from many different streets.

Amount of shade??? Do you use the same argument when trees get too tall? Tower floor plates can't really get any smaller. If this developer has figured out how to make these layouts work efficiently, I'd say let them build it as tall as they can. One of the better spots in the city for new...

    Toronto 15 Hollis | 156.05m | 48s | Gairloch | a—A

Good for Gairloch. Hopefully they bring the same type of attention to detail to this tower as they do for their mid-rise buildings.

Build ASAP. Time and delay kill projects like this.

    Toronto 2-20 Glazebrook | 111.27m | 33s | Gairloch | Gabriel Fain Architects

Tuned in. Normal Jaye Robinson Narrative. A couple more nuanced voices…but the rest of the meeting could be summarized as “we like the architecture, but we think it is too tall, and “our” streets are already too busy and we don’t want more traffic in our neighbourhood. We also don’t want one...
